Yes, the picture is squeezed vertically when I watch it in Windows Media Player. The original movie was letterboxed, not anamorphic, so I guess that's why it's deformed the way it is.
But I don't get why the picture is jerky like it is. Could someone maybe take me through the process of converting the M2v (or mpg) for optimum results?
Well, it didn't work: I tried to re-encode the M2V file to an AVI with VirtualDub, but 3 hours and 100 GB later, the picture of the new AVI is all jerky and squished....What is going on?
All right, I'll try to re-encode it as an AVI, I hope it works. Thanks!
EDIT: actually, I got the video in vegas, but it plays too fast and it's off sync with the audio obviously...
I can usually import mpg videos in Vegas, but when I try to import the mpg file of the movie (done with Womble), it says it can't open it. Am I missing something?
Hey, I can't seem to find the 5.1 Surround option in the Properties tab of Sony Vegas version 8.0...Anyone can help me out?
