So I have a question. Let’s say you present this to Disney/Fox and they end up absolutely loving it. If they offered you a job to restore Empire and Jedi in the same manner, would you do it? I ask because I haven’t seen anyone put as much care and attention to detail into a restoration as you have and it would be great if the latter movies could also get the same treatment.

Are any of the Harmy restorations Blu-Ray? If not where can I find good ones

What do you mean by that exactly?
Are you referring to resolution? They are 720p (1280 pixels wide, 720 pixels tall). That is HD. Not quite 1080p, but still HD.
Are you asking if they’re physically on Blu-Ray discs? No, they’re not. But you can burn them to Blu-Ray discs.

The Harmy’s STAR WARS Despecialized Edition instructions are beyond the non-technical person’s abilities. Too bad.

The instructions aren’t really that complicated. Just get a torrent client. Go to a torrent site and search “Harmy”. Click on the movies you want and download them through the torrent client. What’s so difficult about that? If you genuinely find that confusing, then do some research/googling on what you’re confused about. This isn’t some advanced PhD level course. It’s just simple directions. If you still find the directions confusing and can’t be bothered to quickly google the things you don’t understand, then, like you said, too bad.

Also, most of the comparisons in that article are either sourced from 35mm in the DeEd, or they only have small, pretty seamlessly blended SD elements, so it doesn’t only show off Despecialized but it actually shows SE vs. original, where both are true HD quality. Even so, I still get comments saying “What’s this about? The original is out on DVD just the way it looked like before they remastered it for SE”.

Yeah the YouTube commentators aren’t really the most well-informed bunch. But in the next behind-the-scenes video you do, maybe you could address some of these uninformed comments. On the one hand, it’s frustrating to read those comments stated with such certainty. But on the other hand, it’s good to inform the lay people so that they’re not led astray.
