The segment inside the hut looks like the BD, but the Death Star scene seems to have less black crush and less magenta in the skin tones than the BD.

I noticed that for the first time as I was watching Schorman's version just now.
I think all CG is better than the puppet they got in TPM though. It seemed way less expressive than the ESB one.
I heard a rumor that the TPM puppet is the same as the ESB version, just shriveled and stiff from being in storage. But I think that's BS.

It wouldn't have been any harder to make a younger actor look older as well as scarred when the helmet came off.

By the way, as terrible as the GOUT was, he did allow the OOT to be made available in a large-scale release on DVD. If he truly still wanted all copies of the OOT to deteriorate and be lost forever, he simply would not have released those bonus discs.
