I have not seen The Cable Guy.

I have seen:

  • Liar, Liar
  • The Mask
  • A Series of Unfortunate Events
  • Batman: Forever
  • Dumb and Dumber
  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas
  • Mr. Popper’s Penguins
  • A Christmas Carol
  • The Truman Show

And it’s not like I hate him in all of those, I don’t hate him in hardly any of them, I just don’t care much for many of those movies. I haven’t watched many of the listed movies in several years, though.

Yeah, but in Black Panther, the morally/politically correct person is the villain, so there’s that.

EDIT: Maybe not “politically correct” as the term is popularly viewed, and maybe not entirely morally correct since he kills some people, but still, Killmonger was right.

I haven’t seen it, but isn’t it commendable that they made a morally challenging story with flawed heroes and villains instead of just a movie where they tell jokes for two hours and then fight a big alien at the end?

Yes. I agree with you, I’m just saying that I think the villain was right.

A panel from the upcoming Star Wars Adventures Annual #1.

Is this canon or part of IDW’s more kid-focused books?

I believe the answer to both of those questions is “yes,” since I think all the kid-focused content (IDW books, Forces of Destiny shorts, etc.) are all canon.

I figured the IDW books fell in the same category as Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures.

Does that mean that books like Chewie and the Porgs is also canon?

According to the link you provided, yes.

Chewie and the Porgs is a canon young readers Star Wars picture book
