When I first saw the title, I thought the same thing. Almost immediately after, though, I realized the phrase was wrong, To the folks in the EU??

I opened it really to see what was meant.

On topic:
I don't know enough about the EU constitution or about what France's reasons for opposing it might be, so I really cannot say much.
I did, however, see an article recently that talked about how its bad for Chirac if the frenchies vote down the constitution.

Yes.

And there is ANOTHER episode where we see Boba Fett. Peter grows a beard and an endangered bird nests in it. It flies away, leaving 3 chicks. Lois points out that there are 3 of them, just like their kids and Peter imagines it (each chick is shown in turn, superimposing a kids face over its head).
First chick -> Chris
Second chick -> Stewie
Third chick -> Peter cannot remember Meg, so instead we see a Boba Fett helmet appear and Peter says "Sweet."

Its classic comedy...the Triple.

Goblin Zepplin: "You worry about the towers, I'll worry about the mini map."
Blood Mage: "I find your insolence... disturbing."
Gyrocoptor: "Stay on target!"
Gyrocoptor: "It came...from...behind." (Death sound)
Warden: "He's no good to me if he's dead."
Dryad: "I'm not the Dryad you're looking for."
Shadow Hunter: "Humans. Dey' tink dey' know everytin'."

Things you DID NOT like about Episode III
Time
1. JediKev said it first, but I was hoping for it as well...more Tarkin. We saw him for about 2 seconds at the end of the movie, and not even any lines.

2. I have to agree with everyone else about Vader's No. It could have been done much better. The force crushing was fine, just the line stank.
(I will, however disagree with anyone concerning the Frankenstein tribute. I did think that was a nice touch.)

3. In the last Clone Wars season 1 episode, Grevious took on 4 (or was it more) Jedi at once using 2 arms (not 4) and a leg, and defeated several of them.
Obi-wan beat him alone and with Grevious using all 4 arms.
In other words, Grevious wasn't tough enough. He did some impressive things, just not enough of them.

Don't say that name. Tis one of the names the Knights of Jedi cannot hear.

This one who must not be spoken of was a most nasty person and did not see the value in the OOT. He declared that black-and-white films were inferior and deserved colorization (until we mentioned Schindler's List).

I saw a video like that once too. Remember Slim Goodbody? He did shows about health and the body. One of the shows, about the brain, recreated one of the original experiments into studying the brain, where a dog underwent the same process. You didn't actually SEE anything with electrodes being inserted into the brain, it was only implied, as were the reactions to what happened.

Slim Goodbody...I have thought about that show in a great many years. Probably my favorite show was about digestion.
The recreated experiment was about a man that was shot in the stomach. The doctor, seeing an opportunity to study, took some string and pieces of meat and lettuce and put them in the guy's stomach through the hole. He wanted to see which would be digested faster.

Trailers during ROTS
Time
Let's see...I remember my theater showing:

Mr. & Mrs. Smith
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe
Fantastic Four
Stealth
War of the Worlds
>>Stripes: Special Edition DVD<< (well, that was really before the movie previews began)

I read the entire Chronicles of Narnia 2 or 3 times, but the last time was years ago. It does look like its going to be a really big movie. I looked practically LotR-ish in the trailer.

Stages Of Accepting the Prequel Trilogy
Time
...if only Michael Eisner was in charge of Lucasfilm...

You may think I'm joking or off my rocker, but think about it. Eisner authorized sequels of so many of Disney's classics and he angered us all in doing it, but he did it for money.

The man desires money and power.

You put him in charge of Lucasfilm and he might look at the original trilogy and say "Someone must want those, and I can charge plenty to sell them."

RotS is Anti-Bush?

Personally rather than say that ROTS is anti-Bush, I'd prefer to think of it as Bush being *pro-Sith*!
Speaking purely to be informative and not to continue the politics, greencapt accurately pointed out the couple lines that lead many at the Cannes festival to call the movie anti-Bush.

It should be noted, however, that no matter what Lucas' political leanings are, he has come out and flatly denied it, saying that the movie was written (in the general sense) during the end of the Vietnam War.

Sifo-dyas
Si -dious

Remember, Palpatine had been manipulating the entire war from the start (Start the TF after Naboo to force his appointment to Chancellor...manipulating Dooku into starting the separatist movement for a further power grab, etc.).

Where is the stretch to say that HE was Sifo-dyas for the purposes of ordering the creation of the clones? The only reason I don't think he actually is Sifo-dyas himself is that Obi-wan seemed to have some idea of who that was.

maybe that's my problem...

No, I must have a soul. A tear comes to my eye when I watch a video summary of the 1996 Green Bay Packers season (the year they won the Super Bowl). Watching those guys march out of the tunnel at the Louisiana Superdome with the music they (the video producers) picked...it is one of my emotional weaknesses.

made to invoke memories of the original trilogy.

1. Obvious: The shot on Tatooine of Owen looking out at the suns.

2. Grevious re-entering his ship to get to the escape pod. This one is a bit more obscure, and maybe it was just me, but that hatch looked virtually identical to the one that Lando used in the end of ESB.

3. Leia's Theme during the short time on Alderaan.

4. (Invoking TPM) Duel of the Fates during the Mustafar duel.

5. R2 started hooking into computers again.

I saw more, I know I did, but I cannot seem to think of them right now.

Actually, he does.
from blueharvest.net:

YODA
Strong am I with the Force... but not that strong! Twilight is upon me and soon night must fall. That is the way of things ... the way of the Force.

LUKE
But I need your help. I've come back to complete the training.

YODA
No more training do you require. Already know you that which you need.

Yoda sighs, and lies back on his bed.

Sad News for Original Batman Series Fans

A man that will be missed.

Star Trek: A long time ago, when all we had was BETA tapes, my family had just a handful of Star Trek episodes on tape. Trouble with Tribbles, I Mudd, The Cage, Space Seed (Khan) and Let that be your Final Battlefield. It was a fine episode.

Most people remember him for Star Trek or being the Riddler, but he's done more than that. He was still performing in the play George and Gracey up until March this year, playing George Burns. He also was a very good impersonator. We've got this DVD set that has all the episodes of The Ed Sullivan Show where the Beatles appeared and one of them also had Frank Gorshin.

Episode 3 was disappointing on many levels...
Time
Just got back from a Cleveland 12:01AM opening:

1. For a brief shot, Windu's lightsaber was blue, anyone else see it?

2. I thought I heard Amy Allen said she DIDN'T die. Sure looks like she did to me.
(Nevermind, update from tf.n says she denies it(.

3. Ok, so Qui-gon explains how to transcend to Yoda and Yoda teaches Obi-wan.
How'd Anakin learn?

4. Anyone else get what almost appeared to be DAMAGED reels?? There was at least 2 or 3 spots where it looked like film was actually ripped (one right after the opening).

I'll be back with more once I've had a chance to sleep. I will say I really enjoyed myself.
