It doesn’t matter.
It doesn’t matter.
I thought the book said that his body was cloned but it’s still Palpatine’s spirit? So it’s still technically Palpatine?
oh my gosh! tysm : )
mock-up of an old idea
I really like it
😉
Oh! This all sounds lovely
Oh! Can you cut Finn’s obvious crush on Rey? Is it possible?
We do lose that wonderful argument before Hux’s hero moment, but i think it can be lost.
Find a way to make Finn and Poe more gay and I’ll be happy with the movie.
I’d love a link!
😄
It just really suits Christopher Lee. I tried other colors but none of them really clicked.
Some new images:
yup
That looks so amazing!
I really love the idea behind this but the current execution seems like it needs to be improved. The cut is very jarring and we’re not sure what’s happening by the time it’s over.
I like the first ‘mission’ in the script a whole lot and I like the idea of a galactic communications blackout. I like how Rose is a character in this. I like Finn’s arc. I really really don’t like anything else in there. Rey and Poe together?? It’s bad, folks.
Ok, so i should be ok for now. But I don’t really feel safe so I’m going to try to move out as soon as possible.
About the Dreadnought destruction:
In the moment it isn’t heroic. There’s a shot of Poe looking at Paige’s bomber falling into a fiery inferno and he does a sad face.
And then while everyone’s celebrating on the cruiser, Leia looks at the death toll and sighs.
The movie’s take on self sacrifice is: Useless self-sacrifice is bad. Paige didn’t need to die. If the battle had gone differently, she would have lived.
Holdo needed to destroy the Supremacy and only had one way to do it.
Finn’s self sacrifice wasn’t needed because it wouldn’t have changed anything.
I really really love your takes NFB!
One of my favorite things about TLJ is that it really destroys the old ‘Übermensch’ idea of force users. While I don’t think that George intended it, the fanbase/writers in the old legends continuity really really liked using that fascist idea of ‘strong bloodlines make people strong’ and stuff like that. Everyone who was good at things had to have some force connection because their dad had the force or whatever.
This movie is about resistance to evil and how everyone can/should fight back, and how you can be strong even without “strong blood.” And even those people with “strong blood” aren’t better than anyone else.
Im going to be kicked out of my house soon so all of my projects are cancelled. Sorry for the disappointment.
@IlFanEditore says that he doesn’t really like the visual quality of Return of the Jedi, yet he’s fine with the fact that it is very easy to tell that the ships are practical effects.
@IlFanEditore Can you edit the ships themselves so they’re much less obviously models/practical effects?
Lol, nope. That’s like going to the moon…
Plus, I never minded the ships look that much.
they immediately clarified what they meant:
First of all, I came to hate the visual quality of the original ROTJ. I dislike most of the coloring, and how many things look oddly out of focus.
They didn’t mention the ships. ‘Visual quality’ can be read in different ways, but they specified what they were talking about.
What are you talking about TNT???
This is a complete non-issue
