Not that I am an expert or anything but, I know that all the release groups of dvds do at least 6, I believe there is even a push to do at least 9. But Like I said I am no expert, far from, I dont know how the 3 pass would compare to the 9 pass.

Wish I was home to check out bongloads post a.b.starwars.

Set it up while you sleep, let it run all night, get up in the morning to a beautiful encode. Really, what is your computer doing at night anyways?

For this weekend:
Finish up DarkJedi's - Definitive Collection (Great straight transfer no color correction, looks better then EditDroid)
DrM's - RTW Ep4 and 5
DarkJedi's - Blade Runner (a.b.dvd and a.b.starwars, I put a z for the first character to drop it to the buttom so it is not in the middle of posts on a.b.starwars)

I will be out of town from now until late sunday night so if anything goes wrong with my computer and it stops posting I will fix it sunday, more likely Monday night.

I for one see no problem in a DL release, it is about time. If Citizen gets copies to the right people who have the ablitiy to share, newgroups (segaflip), torrents (rikter), whatever it will get around to people. I know that when I get it I will post it to a.b.starwars as fast as I can.

As for the price of DL disc, that is pretty lame reason for people not to switch over. I have spent way more then what a DL inkjet printable dvd cost in comparision to some older, more rare Offical Star Wars release.

That is my 2 cents.

People if you download off of newsgroups you MUST know what par2 files are and how to use them. They are not posted just for fun they are files that can fix rar files that are broken, most of the time NO FILLS are needed if par2 files are used correctly!

Picked up a Pioneer CLD-V2600 for $20. Also got the Definitive Collection and Special Edition for $40.
