Why Can't We Respect Other Peoples Beliefs?
Time

I really have no problem with religion or people if they don't have a problem with me. I just wish instead of those super stadium-like huge churches some of that money should be used to help the poor. I know most churches arent like that but do we really need any of those? I would assume doing good things would get you out of a bad list more than getting church built.

In a related chunk of irony, turns out Jenny McCarthy's son may not have autism after all.

Will this change McCarthy's beliefs? Maybe.

Will it change how firmly she and her flock of morons believe them? No.

Yet, my mom still believes vaccines cause autism. She thinks it is some huge government conspiracy. I thought she was too old for conspiracy, I certainly am.

Hey I'm sorry if it offended you. I will remove it. I jump without thinking sometimes. I havent had much time lately to read OT.com no idea of the offense til' now. I completely forgot I posted it. See when I posted it I thought it was kind of silly. I am deeply sorry of any grief I have caused you. I don't need to defend myself because I take complete blame.

P.S.

My antics should have stopped a while ago. They will cease now. My intention is not to troll.

Don't bother removing any of you posts. Not worth the effort.

I forget that not everyone likes the 4chan crap.

Can I ask you not to hate me? I would be thankful for that.

I'm an atheist and firm believer of respect for all religions. I really don't care what religion someone is a person should be judged by there character rather than anything else.

Today I had a incident at the store I work at. We were talking about global warming when a woman went up and said "a lot of scientists are atheists" and I'm like "I'm and atheist" and "she's like I feel sorry for you" and realizing that she may think were all some religious haters I told her "I have no problem with any religion" and walked off the better person. I'd imagine it worse if I was a Muslim or something else.

Whats your opinion on the matter?

Android vs. iPhone
Time

I used to have an iPhone and I admit I thought it was the shit when I had it, though it was costing me around $130 a month so I had to quit it(the phone also broke as well). Well I went on my Verizon family plan and got a Droid and am so much more happier with it. I love how open the system is, the fact that I'm not limited to one browser, messaging, or music app. Android allows o much more freedom and customablilty on the users part. One of the best parts is you can pirate right out of the box! Not that I would anyway. Most people would be satisfied with the iPhone, but those of us who want a little more freedom would go with Android.

I guess I've turned into a little bit of an Android fanboy.

What are your thoughts?

Washington (CNN) -- A federal court ruled Friday that the evidence supporting an alleged causal link between autism and a mercury-containing preservative in vaccines is unpersuasive, and that the families of children diagnosed with autism are not entitled to compensation.

About time. It still won't convince the brainwashed masses that think vaccines actually cause autism. My parents for example.

It wouldn't surprise me. Pharmaceutical companies would do anything to make a quick buck.

There is just so much evidence against it. To insist that it's some sort of cover up would be a conspiracy of HUGE proportions involving thousands of people.

I still have problems like those. I just really don't need to read social cues or anything like that or I can and just don't realize it. I hate it when people point me out for being weird, it kind of hurts. I'm happy to be different though. My friends are the ones that can accept me as I am and I am happy they are there.

I myself have been diagnosed Aspergers. If you ever met me in person you would probably never guess it as most people are surprised when I tell them. What are your thoughts on the whole autism thing? Lately I wrote a short article on my blog about Autism and understanding them (I  really don't need much understanding but many of them DO!)

I wrote this for my blog:

Autism is something people know very little about. Often we have a family member of know somebody who has a family member who has been effected by autism. It isn’t the easiest thing in the world to live with. It doesn’t have to be the hardest thing to live with either. Through understanding, friendship, love and a little bit of kindness you can make an autistic person’s life much easier to deal with. Don’t get me wrong things can still be tough but by trying to understand them you will be showing you care and I can’t think of a greater gift than that. One thing that bothers me about being autistic is that some people think I should keep it a secret. I hate keeping secrets I feel like they are dishonest, so I tell people.
My main point is just try to understand us it won’t hurt. The kindness will be rewarded

This is an interesting subject for me, because even though I don't have the money I'm still in the market for a laptop or netbook. Even though it just a bloated iPhone with no microphone. It looks like I'd be reading more with it. I know Google will try to incorporate their book scanning project into here to make it a better reading device.

What do you think?
