Those were fun to watch, thanks!
I have recently released all 3 of these in 1080p
in DVD9 format as well as BD25.
The source was from the recent Japanese 1080i WOWOW broadcasts. English audio and english, dutch and danish subtitles were added.
The quality is very good IMO
you can find them at ps3avchd.net you will need to register and reply in order to get the NZB, but the quality is very good and will do until the official BDs are released
nice work Wookie, as usual. I will wait for the BD50, but the BD25 option is great
Good thing Usb drives are so cheap these days
Thats awesome news. I am a fan of Wookies work and I am glad someone stepped up.
lol, only if you want an encode with a higher bitrate, but maybe Wookie has it?

Come on guys! You're telling me no one here has the Skycaps??? Please help wookiegroomer/everyone out.
I am working on it for him
Dont take my post the wrong way, I wasn't complaining about the bitrate at all, and what the other poster makes sense, to raise the bitrate high enough where any encoding artifacts will be eliminated.
I am looking forward to your release of RotS, and read your nfo. I am also still trying to see if we can get you the SkyHD caps as it would be a shame not to have all 6 in BD50.

Why would anyone go through the hassle of doing another bluray set???? I just did that all that work!! WTF
I'm pretty sure that DVD-BOY's blu-ray set will be BD-25 whereas yours are BD-50's. For many BD-50's are just too expensive and as the highest quality HDTV rips available are only 17GB there will be no difference in quality if they are on a BD-50 or a BD-25
yeah, but we all know Wookies quality is top notch.
Though I do agree the bitrate puzzles me somewhat

Yes, I need the original un-altered original Sky broadcasting versions to use the english parts from. I lost mine in a tragic mishap of being stupid and not thinking ahead. I would not use any re-encodes since technicaly, all edtions are encodes and/or re-encodes so I want to keep it as pure as possible. I am shooting for BD25's of Sith and Clones so a small handful of you should be happy about that. I have too many things planned for Phantom Menace to not use BD50. That one will be a bitch to finish so it's coming last.
The first one to repost these for me gets mentioned on the credits page of the bluray disks they are on to be immortalized forever! ;)
The hv re-encodes are poison and should be deleted promptly.
I deleted the original caps no more than 5 days ago too :( Well, I am a quality nut, and I can tell you that my encodes look just as good as the original caps since I used a higher bitrate than the originals. I highly doubt anyone would notice any difference, but I understand why you want an untouched source.
If you cannot find the originals Wookie, and you need what I have, I will upload them for you. If you would like a sample posted on usenet, I will do that as well.

The SkyHD broadcasts are from the UK and known not to be as high quality as the German caps, though much better than the hV ones. I am assuming Wookie needs the SkyHD versions for the english hardcoded subtitle scenes and opening crawl. Wookie is known to make his versions with a hybrid of both sources.
Does WookieGroomer still read these boards?
if so, I saw this post on usenet from him:
Wookie Groomer REPOSTS **REQ ORIGINAL 1080 SKY CAPS OF PHANTOM MENACE/ATTACK OF THE CLONES
Now, I may be able to help him out. I had the original SkyHD broadcasts for 1 & 2, but recently re-encoded them to NTSC 23.976 1080p at slightly higher bitrate than the original source (basically made a BD25 from them). Problem is, I had to dump the original source files after encoding was complete due to space limitations.
So if you read this Wookie, and would like what I have, let me know, I would be more than happy to help you out with this project.
