We need as many people to share this as possible. Therefore I think posts should be available for sharing on Facebook as well as twitter, and there should be 2 varieties. A short humorous one, and a longer serious post. Certain types of people will only share one or the other.
Alright. Alderaan might have been childish, but I’m ok with that I like the guy. I’m cool with televisions drinky too, but I did feel he was slightly accusatory about my email early in the thread.

He didn’t insult anybody. Drink does sometimes derail threads, and was very accusatory during this thread. Then people made fun of him, and he defended himself.
Can people be nice to alderaan in my thread please? I feel like he’s picked on too much on this site, it was kinda funny initially, but at this point it’s really annoying.
Maybe my mother helped me, I can’t remember it was a really long time ago. I feel like I set it up by myself though. It’s not that hard, especially Back gen they didn’t ask as many questions during setup.

My avatar is extremely recognizable, as it is Charles Chaplin famed silent film star. I used him as I enjoy his work, and it was unique.
My name robertelee is not a reference to the civil war general, rather it’s just the email I have used since I was 5, created unaware of the civil war connection.
You know though, you could take the silence as good news. They accepted and told him to keep it secret… all I’m saying is you can’t read the silence either way.

This is true. Most of my family and friends are aware of the changes, and bothered, but are also not obsessive enough to make themselves heard.
Well the technicolor prints are really nice, and can be used at prestige screenings. They are beautiful in terms of color.
It is the correct aspect ratio, but the disk is mastered at awful ancient laserdisc standards, so the image doesent know how to scale on a modern tv.
Is it possible anything more will be said on this at celebration? Maybe as a parting thing?

The open letter is still being worked on. I think it would be more effective if it was posted on May 25th, the actual 40th anniversary. It’s likely to get lost in the TLJ trailer drop and other hoopla this weekend.
Thank you. I think you are probably correct about this. We should try to make it catching even for casual fans, so we should not use abbreviations or anything that is specific to our community. We should also call the anniversary to notice specifically, because casual fans won’t notice.
