it sure would be nice if someone did a friday the 13th fan edit. take the best "cuts" and edit them into one generic friday the 13th movie. if i had the talent, i'd do it!

As for the multiple releases of this movie, it's because the movie was released without a copyright. Someone messed up and now it's a public domain movie. You could put out your own DVD of it if you so felt the need. George A. Romero has never made a dime off of that movie.

i own this transfer. it's great. plus the red case is pretty spiffy, too. it was on one of the encore movie channels a few days back and I happened to catch it. no comparison. red case NOTLD takes the cake, bar none. plus the commentary's interesting.

however, my fave dead movie has to be Day. I can't explain it. I think its because it is the underdog of the dead saga.

call for help is all right. i just don't like the fact that they dumbed down the questions. i heard that they have friends of the employees calling in the questions (and the questions are written by the writers) because the geeks (myself included) don't call anymore.

i'd have to agree with you darth. everyone is freaking out, but i honestly don't think there is any reason to. price of gas was destined to go up. it just happened in one big bump instead of gradually. it'll level out, then go down.

at least i hope it does. heh

on NPR here at the metroplex it said gas was supposed to be 2.69 in the area. BS!! lowest i saw today was 3.09

you know, dayv, i have to admit, i've seen ringu 2 a couple years back. not a big fan. way too complicated. not that i couldn't understand it, just that if you drone out for about 5 minutes, you lose track of the whole movie. i give it 2 out of 4 stars.

now if you want to see a great japanese film, check out mibu gishiden. 5 out of 4 stars!
