NES games that you haven't beat
Time
i used to have an Atari 5200. spent many evenings playing qix, popeye, and missle command.

EDIT: and of course, pacman. whenever i'm waiting for a movie to start at the local theatre, and i see one of these 4 games, i end up plunking a quarter in and play for 20 minutes straight. heh. i give my game to some kid that's watching my game and head to the movie. usually end up missing the previews each time.

a friend of mine whizzed through ninja gaiden. i was amazed. after watching him play, i decided to do it and i pretty much whizzed through and beat the boss.

evil link. wow. i forgot about that. come to think of it, i've never beaten zelda II either. i guess it doesn't bother me as much as punch out does.

the thing about the consoles after NES is that the final boss is way too simple to beat after going through the whole game. it was pretty much a let down. Zelda III is a prime example of this.

Game genie...of course. But I wonder if anyone has beaten it without it?

i have beaten it without it. the game genie thing was a joke.

i actually had to consult my handy dandy nintendo power to beat that game. took me a couple months of afterschool play, but i finally did it. what exactly do you want to know? a certain boss?

and you have to beat ghosts and goblins twice, as well. these games are both ripoffs. heh

with the game genie!!!

seriously, though. it took me a long time to get master status on that game. wait. are we talking about ghosts and goblins or ghouls and ghosts? i remember with ghouls and ghosts once you beat the game the first time, you have to go through the whole frakkin game a second time to get to the real boss at the end. what a ripoff!!

I'm a Windows person, so I'm not sure about some of this stuff...Thanks for any info.

the airport card will work with any wireless router. and the airport works with any wireless card. its all interchangable.

If you plan on burning dvds, then best program out there is Toast, but most can work through iDVD. there are also a couple free and inexpensive shareware that does the job as well. check out VersionTracker.com. hope that helps.

With the bad habit of remixing classic films into surround sound, it’s beginning to look like the original soundtracks will only ever be presented in a compromised, low priority format for the ‘purists’. For example, they finally included the original Jaws audio on the 30th anniversary DVD except presented in a horribly compressed Dolby dual mono 192kbps (which is actually two identical 96kbps streams), which pales in comparison to the uncompressed LD audio.

i have to agree with this. there is NO way the original mono sounded so tinny on these "original *insert movie here* audios. this would be a great preservation project. Yellow Submarine is an excellent example.
