I am a jazz clarinetist by day, but by night, I transfer my skills of improvisation to more practical applications. i am adept with a machete (thanks to jason movies

) and smaller cutting utensils. i am ok with pistols, but would rather pistol whip than shoot. i'm an up close and personal sort of character.

instant replay for baseball is a big no, imho. it would slow down an already steady pace for a great sport. plus the arguing with umps is one of the best part of the game. especially since players can argue with them and everyone knows nothing can happen. the umps word is gold. end of story.

honestly, i think that was probably one of the best scenes in the PT, because Lucas finally gave homage to a movie great.

speaking of friday the 13th, i just finished part 5 in the series. i am hard pressed to say, but i think i like part 5 the best, so far. i started watching 6, but it was starting to get late, so i turned it off and went beddy bye.

pretty good flicks, altogether. only if you are into that sort of thing, though.

yankees lost yesterday. the latter half of the game the angels really brought it in. so the series is tied, 1-1.

White Sox came back with 5 runs in the 5th inning winning the game. doesn't look good for Boston...

Houston upped the Braves 10-5. the 8th inning really brought it home for the astros.

looked like the padres were going to come from behind, but couldn't quite make it. cards topped them 8-5

yankees are in the lead 3-0 at the top of the 2nd.
