I’m a pipe/bong guy. I’ll smoke a joint it someone rolls one, but I find joints/blunts far too wasteful. You can put the pipe out after each hit if ya wanna. Roll it up and it’s gonna keep burning while your holding and talking. Even more annoying when it’s a friend doing the holding and talking… Don’t park on the grass.

^ Agreed! Yoda was just another boring asshole in the PT. And even if he did act like Yoda, I still think it’s a mistake to actually meet him until ESB.
Also, why were the Jedi all on a planet covered in technology? I’d always imagined that they gathered somewhere peaceful, surrounded by nature. In ESB, Yoda says something about the force flowing from living things. Seems like that’s why he was in the swamp. But on the city planet, there’s no nature or quiet peace.
(I also hate the building designs. Inside and out. Bluh.)

Yeah, but I still like the scene and think it’s a good addition. That R2 jump could (and has) been fixed pretty easily. Too bad the quality control at LFL isn’t as tight as it is for some fanedits…

Seems like people are confusing “pointless” for “stupid”.
The lizard guy’s jacket color change remains the “pointless” winner.
Most of the SE changes are stupid and poorly executed, but you can see that George thought they made the movie more entertaining… somehow.
The jacket going from green to red is totally pointless.
Lucas probably toyed with the idea during production on ROTJ and had someone draw it up.
That would explain why there’s a Salacious-like creature on his tail in the pic…
Of course they aren’t terrible. They’re just terrible compared to the originals.
Pretty much my opinion. I’ve seen a lot of movies. They aren’t great by any means, but they aren’t that bad either compared to some out there. They are fun to watch, but when you dig below the surface, their failings are easy to see. And what have many Star Wars fans spent decades doing? digging. So we are more painfully aware of the flaws than most people. The casual viewer is not going to see all the flaws we do. All three of the PT were huge blockbusters - record setters in ticket sales. They were hugely popular movies. Bigger in some ways than the OT. They just don’t have the staying power because they are flawed and those who love the OT have various views on the level of bad those flaws drop these films to. They are Lucas at his worst, which I think is better than many other directors at their best.
I disagree.
You don’t have to dig or even dust the surface to see the flaws. They aren’t fun to watch. I mean, there’s nothing there that I enjoy. And I’m not alone.
They only did so well because the OT is so loved. Their success at the box office has nothing to do with the quality of the films. They retain a following because Star Wars is the most popular thing on the planet and most people are sheep and the brand is their Shepard.

A year ago today my best friend passed away. Today I’m focusing on all the great times we had. I’m lucky to have had such a good, close friend like him. For 16 years we were each others sidekick and hero. We were never shy about saying we loved one another (or shouting it across a crowded bar), and I’m very glad for that.

Only one for the trilogy? Jedi Rocks. I can live with people not thinking Star Wars is the superb trilogy it is. But I can’t live with people hating Star Wars, which is exactly what Jedi Rocks makes people do.
I remember looking around and behind me in the theater during that song to see if it was making anybody else as uncomfortable as I was… A few faces seemed to express what I was feeling, but there were also several dumb grins…

I feel Jedi and Force don’t quite go hand in hand. Perhaps the force has been around for milenia, and instead of it being a religion in itself, countless religions have spawned from it.

The Wampa test shoot was promising. The ideas i had seem to be working, but they’re not 100% there yet. still some tweaking to do. But I’ll be doing the proper shoot this weekend and then it should take about a week to complete the compositions. So i will know by the end of next week whether or not the new Wampa will be included in ESB:R.
