STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

I wish I knew why they felt so threatened by Revisited. I mean, why can't we all just enjoy what we enjoy without feeling like we have to destroy all else that doesn't fit into that category. I'll never understand why they feel that Revisited is such poison either......the entire thing seems to boil down to the fact that it wasn't created by the same person (ie: Lucas vs. Ady). But if they'd stop to think about it.....Lucas is just the idea man.....there are entire teams of people that are responsible for the final look or design of almost everything....OT AND PT......I mean, if you don't like it...fine, you're as entitled to your opinion as anyone else, so long as you remember that yours is only one of many. Their opinions, however, never seem all that valid to me because they are based on such ridiculous arguments. They're often not arguing that the effects aren't as well done, or that it looks fake, or that they don't like the addition of this or that....but that the idea doesn't come from an "official source". Its just another point of view people....it won't bite you....relax

Perhaps a bit off topic, but has anyone seen this yet? They refer to The Phantom Menace as being "revisited" on two separate occasions in this article. Hmmmm...

Wow! I like the new lightsaber Avatar. Looks much better. Is it be possible to change the overlay to a different color? If so, would you ever consider changing it to blue: the original plan for ROTJ, handicapped by the special effects limitations? Just curious.

Even knowing that the original plan was to have his lightsaber be blue, I quite like that its a different color. It adds to the character, shows that he's becoming his own person...foreshadowing that he will not follow in his father's footsteps. Just adds more depth, instead of him just copying his father's lightsaber again

An update from Adywan on the contest to win props and models from ESB:R filming (taken from the failbook page):

If the total number of donations for the prize draw reaches 20 by the end of next week I will release a brand new clip from ESB:R that has not been seen before. So far the total is not even in double figures :(

Further statement made after a few donations came in:

Thanks guys. Just hit double figures so we are half way there for the new clip. I've still got about £5 - 6000 to raise to cover all the materials needed. I'm in the process of working out a detailed estimation but so far it's looking to be around that figure.

seems we're about 6 people short now...

Besides the torture needle, this was my only real issue. I have always loved when Obi-Wan finds Vader standing with his saber already drawn. It was just a cool moment, and a rare one I might add. He knew this is the guy that messed him up before, and he's pissed. Cool moment I'd like to see restored.

Yes, agreed. The jedi's were always shown as resorting to fighting when all else failed (the PT made a royal mess of this, but lets just pretend the PT doesn't exist alright? Hell, I do it all the time!). It always made more sense to me that when Ben shows up Vader is standing there, saber ready, basically telling him, "don't talk, just light up, and lets beat the sh*t out of eachother".....and Ben, upon seeing this, realizes he has no choice and follows suit in order to buy time for the others. IMHO it is more of a dark side trait to light up first, immediately resorting to anger and fighting rather than talking first

But if Hayden were to be left in there......

He dies as an older man, not his younger self. It makes no sense for the ghost to come back as his younger self. It was a cheap gag thrown in by Lucas to try and tie the OT in with the prequels. Instead of actually showing some effort and making the new "films" work with the pre-existing material he goes back and tries to make the films that have existed for 30 years work better with the new ones he's making. Its backa$$wards and its wrong

I don't know how to tell you this, but Biggs died man. And how could Camir have gotten married to him and joined the Rebellion when Luke is the only person Biggs told?

noooo! :D i checked again and i remember it wrong.. in the official comics she was merried to Laze Loneozner.. not biggs.. i don't remember why did i remembered like that.. it's feels like it's still a good idea though.. :D

George Lucas remembered alot of his sh*t wrong too.....but he still thought the prequels were a good idea.....

Even if you don't believe any of it, you have to admit it's an intriguing read. We all know Lucas couldn't come up with that anyway, but it could ease the burden of watching the trilogies if you try to keep in mind that R2 is a secret agent, and Chewie isn't a lapdog =D

nothing eases the burden of watching the prequels, and the OT has never been a problem.....chewie and/or R2 being secret agents changes nothing, not in my mind anyways....the other page was an interesting read though. I much prefered the take on the clone wars to what we were given

muddyknees, I think regularjoe was referring to the discussion about the interior design of Vader's meditation chamber.

That was my assumption as well. I was simply making the point to him that I don't appreciate being told what I can and can't talk about when

A) Its actually on topic

and B) He's not a moderator

EDIT: @timdiggerm: Yeah you're probably right, even if they are there they probably won't help the debate. Hadn't thought of that. Oh well, I'll keep my eyes peeled anyways. Who knows, they might have some form of diagram of what the final room was meant to look like.
