What is good and interesting and scary about numbers 2 and 3 and how do they reflect history?

Attack of the Clones is the only Star Wars film I hate. Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back are great, Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens are good, The Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith are mediocre, but Attack of the Clones is freaking terrible.
I’m surprised you would say that Sith and TPM are mediocre while simultaneously hating Clones. I always felt like the prequels were all the same for the most part. TPM is the most watchable of the three for me, but I ultimately consider them all to be completely worthless.
EDIT: Basically, I don’t see how someone could find enjoyment in some prequels but hate others.
It’s refreshing to have to rely on a fan edit to preserve the crappy Special Edition of a film instead of the original.

I’ve never thought of Star Wars for it’s dialogue.
Then what do you appreciate about the prequels? All the characters do is sit around and talk the entire movie!

The majority of the time in the PT, the characters spend their time sitting and/or walking and talking, if you never thought of the dialogue in star wars then how do you even like the PT? Do you just skip the the saber fights or something?

Funny how sometimes a particular user will just grind your gears, even more so than others just like him or worse.
EDIT: After further reading of Something Something’s literature, I definitely believe he is a troll, and most likely a sock.

His post about how Attack of the Clones is flawless and better than Empire makes me skeptical. He is polite though and not a spammer, so I am not too disturbed as of yet.
I wouldn’t want to see Lucas direct sequels, but I am curious about what his plans were.

That looks like it’s straight out of an Iron Maiden album cover.
Imagine TFA, but with Jaden Smith cast as Finn and Miley Cyrus’s little sister cast as Rey.
Also imagine lots more plot holes, replace all the good humor with cringe inducing toddler potty humor, and eliminate any traces of darkness for the majority of the film except have a drastic shift in tone towards the end in which Kylo Ren goes on a child-slaughtering rampage and is then burned in a graphic sequence. Only to be recovered by Snoke and become Darth Vader II.
We’d also probably see Boba Fett’s son or something stupid. He’d throw in a lot of contrived nonsense along the lines of Yoda and Chewy being best friends.
