“I Have the High Ground!”
“I Have the High Ground!”
You could add some comical subtitles to the Sandpeople scuffle.
I don’t know about you guys, but I thought the casting on ST '09 was terrible. New-Kirk and New-Spork are okay, but I don’t think any other character was cast well. Regardless of looking like the original actors, none of them were even close to the original characters. Not to mention that I only find Kirk and Spock better because they vaguely resemble the original actors enough to be passable.
If physical resemblance is your concern then you would hate all of the Bond movies made post-1967 (excluding Diamonds Are Forever - 1971).
But it’s only offensive because of his history.
Seriously? What history? Yes, my posts may be confident (which might be irritating to some people) but they are never offensive. For example, most of people posting in this thread (yourself included) have been insulting me by various name-calling. I have have never done that, even when you guys did it to me. Feel free to go trough my “history”…
You aren’t confident, you’re arrogant. I’d rather you just insult everyone directly than talk about how you are supposedly a perfect and intelligent individual. By the way, none of us are convinced by that charade.
Drowning Man - U2
Give each character a digital limp.
Have a dinosaur walk in front of the camera while on the Death Star.
That’s some intense talk.
Time - Pink Floyd
That post was a big hit!
I know it’s my own post, but I want to see a lurker take this name.
Well it seems that Snoke is NOT Plagueis. Which is slightly disappointing to me but Snoke still has plenty of time to establish himself as a great villain. If Palpatine could do it in one then Snoke can surely do it in two 😃
You’ll notice though that Snoke has hands. You know who else has hands?
Richard Olie confirmed for Episode VIII.
Put a CG yodo over thae original yoda, with Jakes Lloyd’s face over Hayden’s ghost, saying something about an angle (preferably an obtuse angle).
I respect your opinion, but I think George Lazenby is too elderly to play a young Han Solo.
Whenever I couldn’t finish a meal as a child I would hear a remark about how grateful the starving African children would be to have my rations.
That’s some intense talk.

Good luck on the IRS. I’ve fortunately been able to slip under their radar and have avoided their harassment.
I think most of the people on this site don’t really fit in with the current Star Wars fanbase as a whole. A lot of them go into EU stuff and I can’t even have a discussion without prequel nonsense being brought up. It’s hard.
Same, that’s why whenever I discuss Star Wars it’s just a basic discussion of the OT, without really getting much farther than “Oh yeah, those are good; I love the Empire Strikes Back,” but most that are only nominally familiar with the franchise barely mention the PT.
Fair enough.
One way or another, putting hope on the “profit” is delusional. As I already said, LF is making billions with each new film. Several millions of profits from potential release of theatrical versions is not even worth a consideration (profit-wise).
You guys can think whatever you want, but money is not the reason the OOT has been nixed. It has nothing to do with the distribution rights, either. The sole reason Disney has no plans to restore the OOT is because George Lucas doesn’t want it to happen. Kathleen Kennedy and his minions still run Lucasfilm. Lucas himself is the largest single living shareholder of Disney stock. It’s not going to happen as long as he is alive.
It’s been 4 years already. Let it go.
Worst comment nominee right here. I didn’t know you worked for Lucasfilm.
The weight of the the available evidence suggests that his thesis is sound.
What evidence? A statement (supposedly) made by a journalist that has been proven wrong on certain details of his article.

Oh good grief. I was kind of hoping it’d be a decent movie, Sinister 2 was awful!
Don’t worry, I just typed the first recent movie title that came to my head.
I just looked it up and apparently that honor went to a film called Chloe and Theo.
The movie hasn’t been made yet, and I haven’t seen it, but it sucked.
I don’t know about you, but I am quite good at predicting what I won’t like.
I said nothing about whether or not anyone would like it. Don’t embarrass yourself.
Any movie with a number in the title where a letter should be is an automatic 1/10.
Seconded. I came to that conclusion after 5T4R W4R5 3P150D3 1: The Ph4nt0m M3N4C3 came out.
I waste too much time debating here, I can’t imagine doing it in real life too.
I honestly don’t even remember the last time I had any meaningful conversation about Star Wars in real life other than basic discussions about the movies themselves. I guess I’m not as avid a fan as most on here.
