Sure thing. Make sure to do well in school. I did well in college, but very poorly in high school. A deadly combination of rock & roll and poor lifestyle choices distracted me. Thankfully, I turned things around before it was too late.

Depends how you define “missed.” I’ve got three of his songs (“Caribbean Queen”, “Lover Boy”, and “When The Going Gets Tough”), so I’m not completely unfamiliar with him.

More accurately, I guess, it depends on how you define “him”…

His music transcends time, so I’m not surprised that you’re a huge fan. That being said, you missed his creative peak.
