That was the most baffling thing I’ve ever seen on the big screen. I’ve never seen such an unsubstantiated explanation for a major plot point. It isn’t even further explored in the following film.

Cursing and sex/nudity always take me out of a movie and detract from the enjoyment. Neither of those things offend me, I just don’t really think they have a place in art except in some cases of nudity in paintings and such.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with nudity. It is funny how so many morons easily tolerate violence (which is present in so many films) and at the same time do not tolerate nudity (or sex).
I love violence in movies. Replace most sex scenes with violence and you have a better movie.
I love James Bond. I enjoy how each movie has a set formula. I had a Bond Girl poster as a kid.

My favorite song on the album is by far My Man. It’s a touching tribute to the then recently deceased Gram Parsons, one of my musical heroes.
I can’t believe I only got around to watching a Bond film earlier this year.
I barely remember a time in which I had yet to see a Bond film.
The fact that he played an alien in full costume on an episode of Star Trek TNG always fascinated me too.

Wow that’s awesome! I saw them in concert somewhat recently and he’s still rockin’ the drums well into his 60s. Just an hour leaves me exhausted at my age now; I couldn’t imagine drumming for hours each night on tour in old age.
The Civil War often literally pitted family against family. That’s one of many reasons why it was the darkest moment in US history.

I’m very proud of my family’s military history. I’ve had relatives fight in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, WWI & WWII, the Civil War, the Indian Wars, and the American Revolution. I was never able to join the military.
out of curiosity, which side were your relatives on during the Civil War?
Mostly for the Union. Some distant relatives fought for the CSA though. At the time my family lived in an area on the border between the United States and the Confederacy.
