It’s one of the better unofficial Bond movies.
It’s one of the better unofficial Bond movies.
It’s better than getting mad and pretending not to be mad, and you missed my added-in-editing rant.
That was what most of the 80s was in terms of mainstream culture. The stuff people remember and like were the exceptions, just like any other year.
Stupid person was too stupid to know who a critically important historical figure was. Welcome to earth!
EDIT: I remember a bunch of people defending the people Handman interacted with that were too ignorant and devoid of cultural awareness to know who Frank Sinatra was. I don’t know how anyone could not be at least annoyed by ignorant clowns who don’t know who any president is before Bill Clinton and don’t know where Europe is on a map and have never heard of Elvis Presley. Fuck them.
Definitely no more than half a second though, if at all.
I’ll never be able to make it through that.
Wait, I don’t rate ROTJ the highest because I’m not honest and just want to be liked?
Lol.
Anyway…

I started that Return of the Jedi Appreciation Thread and now I have little appreciation for that film.
It’s so bad. I once saw a video of theirs where they went so far beyond climate change denial that they outright claimed burning fossil fuels was good for the environment.
It came from Prager U so it must be true.
I got to be honest, today was a genuinely good day. Nothing awful happened at work this morning; a couple of people made me a little sick to my stomach and this one woman kept watching me and wouldn’t mind her own business but other than that I have no complaints. There’s still time for today to go to hell but so far it’s been quite all right.
Yeah, not wrong at all.
Those are pretty expensive still.
I know.
I actually had a half-decent day today. I really enjoyed my coworkers for some reason. They tried to embarrass me, whether it was intentional or not I’m not sure, a couple of times but I dodged it and I actually enjoyed talking to them.
EDIT: I guess this probably should have gone in the good news thread.
No, fuck you. I’ll shove that TV up your Frink.
I’ll bet a certain ex-forum member has one.

I want to nominate the Last Album Listened To thread. I’d nominate even if I didn’t make it. I love music, and I think it was a sorely needed thread. It’s also been devoid of pretty much any drama or frustration since its inception, which is neat.
I listen to Abbey Road nonstop these days. It elicits a pretty powerful response from me so I listen to it several times a day sometimes.
I loved Stranger Things and would be willing to buy the series on blu-ray if it had great behind the scenes features.
Are you a Jehova’s Witness?
But when are we going to be exterminated, though? Is that before or after 2030, and will Clarence Thomas be spared in order to shill for Republicanism on the Supreme Court?
I’d say Empire and ANH get solid 10/10
I’d probably give Jedi a 5, TFA a 5 (even though I like Jedi better), and Rogue One gets a 4. I see no reason to bother rating the prequels.
Did people pay money for the Phantom Edit and the Holiday Special when those were making the rounds in the early 2000s for the former and the late 90s for the latter?
My car is only about 10 years old. I don’t see any need to spend more than a few thousand on a car. As long as it runs safely and reliably, it’s fine.
I seem to remember Lost in Space being one of the absolute worst movies I’ve ever seen. Is it really 4/10 material? It’s been a while so I might have built it up as worse than it is.
