I don’t know about Dora the Explorer but that kind of stuff happens all the time in shows aimed at small children. It’s because adults that wish they’d chosen other careers have to do the writing and animation so they include references like that to keep themselves from being completely uninterested. It’s why stuff like Spongebob has parodied James Bond and Psycho and other classics that the children watching definitely won’t understand.

I know this won’t be even remotely encouraging, but you’re not missing much. I don’t think I’ve met anyone with fond memories of relationships they’ve had between the ages of 13 and 16. If you want a girl or boyfriend anyway then it’s basically just trial and error. I went through three or four noes before I found someone at that age and I didn’t even like the person I ended up with so don’t go asking people out for the sake of asking them out.

My dad usually just doesn’t call me.

EDIT: Actually that’s not fair, he calls sometimes but he never visits me.

EDIT: Nevermind. To get back on topic, I hate cleaning linoleum floors. I avoid cooking as much as possible to I don’t have to clean the kitchen more than I absolutely have to.

The frequency has emboldened more shooters perhaps? Although the murder rate overall has gone down since 30 years ago. The biggest thing, perhaps on par with easy access to guns, is that mental illness goes undiagnosed so often.
