They are still there, and if you have giganews you can get them (see newzleech.com and search for adywan).

No, they aren't for me, download is not working, they are too old.

And:
- Are these 2 versions color corrected by Adywan?  Because I'll just download them only for that.  I've seen other HD versions, are they the same?
- Where are these versions from?  The 1997 or the 2004 DVD?  Or just an other one?

You should be able to get these if you're on Astraweb or Giganews.  Alternatively there are torrents available for both on Demonoid and TPB.

Yes they're both colour corrected by Adywan (a mighty fine job too).  Also they have corrected 5.1 audio.  In my opinion these are the definitve HD versions of the Original Trilogy, just waiting for ROTJ now.

All Adywan's HD stuff is sourced from the German Premier HD versions, don't worry though, they are in English.

Can somebody send me a pm also as to where I can get these from? I have a usenet acct but i'll torrent if I have to. Also if anyone knows if Adywans ANH is being torrented anywhere? I'm grabbing from usenet but its just over my retention and I don't think I'll have enough pars to repair. Thanks

It's on Demonoid.

Are you two both talking about the same thing?
adywan's Revisited was @demonoid; however, I've presumed technics2000 is asking about his AVCHD.
It could be there also, of course.

They're actually both at Demonoid, I have the ISO files for both so I can upload if required.  Actually just noticed they're both (AVCHD and Revisited) at TPB as well

Edit: only the AVCHD is at TPB, I can upload the PAL DVD9 of revisited to TPB if required.

Hi

Anyone know about  a torrent tracker where the German Boradcast files are still seeded? I'm in Hungary and my ISP doesn't provide Usenet acces.

thx

2nd. if someone could PM me. I'd prefer not to go through Usenet

I really wouldn't bother with torrents for files that large.  There are usenet providers that do one off pricing plans etc, just ask around.  Also using a program like Alt.Binz, one you've set it up everything is automated.   You give it the NZB file, it spits out the ISO, MKV etc at the end of it and deletes all the temporary files.

I download TESB 1080 copy. How do I play it. I dont have any blue ray players on computer or anything can I play it without blue ray?

Yes you can, your computer must be fast enough to play HD content though.  Have a look through some of the previous posts in this thread, it'll give you all the info you need. I converted them to mkv files and play them through Media Player Classic Home Cinema cos I haven't got any Blu-ray hardware either.

Savage said:A technical question: I have a Sony Vaio laptop with a blu-ray player. It plays blu-rays flawlessly, as well as 1080p .movs and .mkvs. However, the dedicated blu-ray player (Intervideo BD, I believe) cannot play ESB (I haven't tried ANH). Neither can mplayer. Windows Media Player can play the disc, but the audio will not stay in sync. Are there any other additional codecs/programs I need to get the disc to play correctly on a PC?

You can convert the files to MKV really easily.   Install Daemon Tools and copy the m2ts file as mentioned in previous posts.  Then follow this guide from step 4 taking care to note the audio timeshift in the ts file:

http://jamestombs.co.uk/2008-07-20/how-to-convert-avchd-iso-to-mkv/535

The best software for HD files on Windows IMO is Media Player Classic Home Cinema, it use the graphics card (Nvidia 8000 series and above, RadeonHD 2000 series and above) to accelerate HD content.  The technical term being GPU offloading.  It plays MKV 1080p files flawlessy for me, no dropped frames or tearing.  A must for computer based HD playback, and its free and open source software too.

Can anyone tell me if the PS3 verisons are still available on the Usenet?  I've finally got everything working as far as the premium host, newsreader, ect. is concerned, just having a hard time finding the proper files in the group...  Please respond in a PM, since I suspect some of this can't be posted on the forum.  An idea of where I could find the NZB would be awesome!  Thanks.

self-censored, don't want the forum to get into trouble, sent a PM instead

I know I'm way late to the party, but is there any chance of a reupload of the 12GB 1080p versions of episodes 4-6?

I'm downloading episodes 1-3 as we speak from a.b.starwars, but episodes 4-6 aren't anywhere as far as I can tell.  Even a torrent would be nice, albeit a little slow.

With all due respect to Wookiegroomer, his HD versions of the original trilogy have been superceded by Adywan's 1080p versions in my opinion.  Mainly due to the excellent colour correction Adywan has done on his releases but also due to the laserdisc audio.  You're probably better of getting these, there are torrents available right now.   You can convert them WITHOUT reencoding the video for playback on a 360 too.

Any Rapidshare links for this, I've downloaded 50% but now it's gonna take 4 days to get via torrent :-(

No rapidshare links I know of.  The problem with the torrent is that there's loads of hit and run downloaders.  Next time I'll upload it to a torrent site that requires you to maintain a share ratio.

Iam prepared to upload a torrent of this.

If someone wants to upload to Demonoid I will upload to mininova or pirate bay.

It makes no sense to have duplicate material on one site

I have a slow connection so its going to take a while.

How about using 7z to highly compress the iso before uploading?

I'm doing exactly that right now before I upload it.

I see your point and understand completely,I was there right with you for a long time, and I can't stand rapidshare,I don't mind torrents so much anymore because all the places I get them from are very strict on seeding,so that is cool.

hopefully someone will upload the torrent ASAP for all you guys, because I won't upload to Demonoid or TPB,they are way to lax and the hit and runners there suck!

I'm thinking of creating a torrent.  Where would you suggest I upload it to?
