STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

I am shocked By the amount of hostility towards this post! it seems by the reaction that it is indeed a shut case, and if your opinion veers off the norm that is canon by certain members (you know who you are), bullying and aggressive behaviour is rife.

What a shame as I thought that even on sites like this there is a group of members willing to shout down a voice because it doesn't agree with what they say goes. And anything that isn't what they agree with is beaten down by abuse and aggression.

It was just an idea that I thought about the other day about merging the two voices, I'm just curious to find out if it works! I have always been curious to know just what it would sound like to have the original Boba voice morphed on top of the clone Boba voice thats all. And what with Adywan's idea of keeping the original voice in the Revisited Empire, I thought a few other opinions and ideas might spark debate on this issue. I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes or work everyone up into a crazy 'original Boba voice versus 2004 DVD clone Boba voice' frenzy, I'm just trying to get an idea out there into the public online realm that could or could not happen in the Revisited movie. Its all up to Adywan in the end, as he is the genius doing the most amazing restoration and digital work on our favourite films.

Its just an idea!

It can be done, but as doublefive states the timing of both voices is off (he's right). It would take a lot of cutting and pasting to get it spot on, and then morphing/layering software and a good mixer desk would get it crystal clear and coherent as one voice. Either that or someone would have to do an impression of a clone on top of the original voice? it could be done and would really work!

I never said take away the original Boba Fett voice with the new 2004 DVD one, I said that it might be an idea to mix the two voices on top of each other to get one voice. Then we would have a voice thats not so different from both versions, having the gnarly menace of the first voice and the cloney voice of the second to tie the two trilogies together. I am a singer and when recording vocals in the studio I layer my voice together to make it stronger. This would be the same layering effect used on the Boba Fett voice, and the software used to do this takes out distortions and blends the voices together to form one. I think it would work in this instance with the two Boba Fett voices glued together, cleaned up and mixed as one voice. The result would be a menacing clone like voice with the attributes of both vocals, but in one voice.

Adywan & everyone on here,

I really think that you should leave the clone voice on Boba Fett, as it will not only tie in with the prequels, but it will also give Boba a link to his true Mandalorian origins (just like his Father's voice), he is after all a clone of his Father! His voice may have altered slightly as the years went by, so I suggest maybe Adywan mixing the two voices (original - before 2004 DVD voice version and prequel - 2004 DVD version) together to get a healthy balance of what would be a modern day Boba Fett voice.

What do you think?
