Team Negative1 - The Empire Strikes Back 1980 - 35mm Theatrical Version (Released)
Time

I'm a total novice myself and remuxed the file on handbrake, my first time using the software. I muxedthe audio into ac3, stereo at 640 kbps. For the video I set it up in the mkv container via high level 4.1.  I changed the quality level to to 14 (0 is lossless) and I got a file size comparable to the raw file...roughly 22 gobs and now the file plays flawless in my home theater on both my kdlinks media player as well as my sony blu ray player.  Hope everyone else gets theirs to work as well!  I will say that the end scene is still a bit corrupted with the falcon.

kk650's Star Wars Saga: Regraded and Semi-Specialized (Released)
Time

Glad to see you back!  Sorry I'm guilty as anyone for not lending more verbal support for your project but as for my opinion yes I definitely appreciate your corrections and am happy if you go ahead and lock the settings in.  While I am not a professional by any means at this type of thing, I can say that I prefer your settings over how the blu rays look.  Your settings give the image that look of being projected by an older projector with the older style bulbs which give it that warmer feeling.  Really look forward to the larger file size format with the DTS soundtrack when you get that finished!  Happy new year in advance!

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

Wait a sec...so hh's lossless files are sourced from lossy files?  That being the case it's not a true representation of a lossless file.  All it's doing , besides the obvious of holding up finalization of your project, is bloating the audio files even further with no added benefit of truly providing superior audio.

That being said, I would as others have mentioned go ahead with the authoring of your bd and releasing the mkv.  I have watched 2.1 at home, and I do have a higher end system to listen on and my personal experience has been nothing short of phenomenal.  Given that we are listening to lossy files as is, please bear in mind that they're higher bitrates than mp3's.  just my 2 cents since I know you're anxious to move forward from this so you can give ESB and ROTJ more attention.  :)

Puggo Strikes Back! (Released)
Time

I just watched this and PG this evening....wow!  I love the "film" experience this provides right down to the soundtrack!  Really delivers a grind house-style feel.  Have to say that watching these and Harmy's 2.0 releases I am finally enjoying the movies for the first time on over 20 years again.

Have to kind of agree with Harmy though that an HD release of PG and PSB would look even better as mpg2 has a difficult time managing all the film grain, etc.   all in all great job!

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

Happy Belated Harmy!  I've been "offline" for the last couple of weeks moving and my internet isn't slated to be installed in my new house for two more days so I'm anxiously waiting on this download!

In any case I hate to be another one of the late crowds asking but is it possible to get an invite from someone for MS?  Very much appreciated in advance.

And Harmy, those screenshots actually left me every bit as impressed as I was the first time I saw these movies in the theater as a child.  Thank you for a job so well done!
