Really, that's interesting. I have that disc. The video from the LD isn't that impressive to me despite the fact that it's supposedly taken from a negative (not sure why an IP was used for all the DVDs, if a negative exists). The audio, commentary, and the special features do rock though. Definitely feel there absence on MGM's BD.

The Criterion DVD has some better contrast than the BD interestingly enough. They're more accurate to the reissue 35mm prints I've seen.

 I think you are right. I guess my mind was on the extras that really made that release special. I wish someone would care enough to bring some love to this great piece.

I am seeding right now and will seed non-stop all weekend barring any issues.

I'm only sad I have no blanks to burn it yet :(

I can't help if members do not know how to set up their torrent client correctly.

DJ, take it easy. The guys here are just reporting how the download's going and what the speed is. There's a lot of factors to take in account that can cause speed drops or some people being unable to connect to certain seeders. (Different ISPs, firewalls etc)

And I'm sure everybody here will help us once they're at 100%. I bet the hit & runners are just some random myspleen visitors. Don't take out your anger against them on the OT members. The guys here appreciate our work too much to just hit & run. And we all know myspleen isn't perfect, no file sharing method seems to be, but it seems to work at least.

Unfortunately I can't help seeding since I don't have a blu-ray reader in the computer but everybody should know I would have helped if I could.

Other than that I'll just say everybody's welcome to watch our version and I hope you'll enjoy it! Just make sure to help seeding and maybe make copies for others who can't download it.

And of course: Support the film companies! :D

Mine is almost done and I will seed.

If anyone can send me discs to help, I will burn for any of our members that need me to. I just don't have enough discs.

I know my torrent client is set up properly as I have used it for the mobile version which I also seeded, as well as many other projects.

Right now I am showing 1 of 5 seeders available with 6 of 14 leechers active.

I am trying to get it to help the cause too :(

Yes there are now three seeders. Quite slow though :(

why put the criterion logo on it? criterion would never touch the 5.1 upmix. if they ever would return for hard boiled, we probably would get the japanese video with proper color correction and a lossless cantonese mono audio track.

Like I said, without designing my own, this is the quickest I could do.

I will be designing my own with the help of a creator which will look different.

This was just a place holder for me and to help guys have something to put on their disc. It's not that serious :)

I'm sure there will be a way for everybody who wants a copy to get one. People on this forum are always helpful and I'm sure somebody could help copying discs for the ones who didn't get any. And the covers will be shared too so everybody can get them printed.

I am counting on this... but with so much desire for this, the waiting is killing us ! LOL.

Actually it is a custom Trilogy My Menu Guy and I just finished up complete with menu's and all, I wanted all 3 films on 1 BD and region free, not 2  region B and 1 region A.

Very nice indeed. Lot's of memories in that trilogy ! Love it !
