I'm really glad for the PSB. I remember on watching I did seem some bars about 1/3 of the way on the left side of screen. Then noticed they went through most of the viewing. Puggo, do you know if that may have occurred in the rendering? I doubt that is due to the capture. I took a couple pics. This is where Luke is going into the cave/tree. Take a look above his hand for the bar that runs vertical from top to bottom of the screen. Sorry I did not get this posted months ago. 

Doubt I can help much. But, what do you use to make the iso? I use ImgBurn for most anything that I am making an iso or burning an iso to disc.

is your capture off of tv/cable from the 80's, 90's or more recent. i think i only had an old vhs capture from hbo years ago.

Anyone happen to have an mp3 version of the John Williams Interview track that was given as a download from Walmart? I have a Windows Media version and I thought I had it converted to mp3 but can't seem to find it - or how to convert. My guess is that it is encrypted and apparently the old code code is gone too. Bummer.

I remember getting The Phantom Menace laserdisc. I am pretty sure it was the last new LD I bought. Have got a few used ones of the years of various films. I still like giving them a spin. Looking forward to your results -1.

I think I have the DVD released in 2003. It says it has the mono on it. Wondering if it is the same or similar to this one. 

I learn alot on this board that I never would have thought of. I'll have to listen to the mono version I have and see what it sounds like in comparison whatever other version is on this disc.

Considering I have never seen this film, it looks pretty good to me.

It was not me regarding the audio. However, a 16mm transfer? That sounds nice perkyporker. I've just been wanting to see this film in any state. But a 16mm transfer would be great if you are looking to do something like that in the future.

I've rented the current DVD from our library. Parts of it look pretty bad - nearly VHS quality at times. Anyone know if some of the laserdisc releases are least a constant quality throughout? Might try to pick up a used copy.

Great deal! I bought that set new years ago in the mid 90's. I don't remember there being a slipcover for the book. I'll try to check mine out later and see.

I never had any of the OT prior to the 93 Definitive version. So, I keep looking for those when I visit HPBooks too. On a side note, I did see the first 3 Raiders/Indiana Jones films on LD at the HPB in Mesquite, TX last week. But I already have those.

I don't think I have ever seen this. It may be a blind buy since it is such a good deal on amazon.

I don't have much displayed, but this thread makes me want to make at least a small shelf. A little like Harmy, I have various versions of the SW films in VHS, LD and DVD. To me I really want the various releases of the films since they are what started it all. Although, I still have all the SW toys from my childhood - 77 until now. But really, I only have a few of the newer figures, mostly from the late 90's. But I think the old figures are still my favorite of my old toy collection.

Wow, I am surprised. I don't think I could ever buy a pan/scan film for that kind of dough unless that was the original aspect ratio. 

OK, I have recorded before but on a different PC. Having some issues getting the correct input. I have not forgotten. I will probably hook up the other PC again and give it a shot but it may be a few days.
