Get well! Force is strong with you!
This is a thread of awesomeness, indeed!
Take your time guys, this looks fantastic!
Just bring it on guys! :)
I'd say despite all the minor flaws discussed previously (although as an initial preview it wasn't supposed to be perfect in the first place), the first preview looks absolutely marvelous! I was really happy to see that this project is heading forward and the final result should be really cool. You guys rock!
Yes, I'm trembling as well! :)
I know promises are given to be broken, but this one I can easily keep :) Promise to stick around for good!
Guys, going insane here :) Is THX1138 16mm preservation avaialbe for general use already-can't seem to find it on Usenet...
Hi guys, help needed! So I wanted to make Blu-ray ISO from two mkv files. I tried tsMuxeR, naturally, but somehow what I got was a message "some tracks not recognized and was ignored" and a video without sound on the output. I tried MKVToolNix in order to merge those two files in one and drop it onto tsMuxer again, trying to solve the problem, but the result was the same - no sound and an error message. The merged file was also kind of weird, as I tried to play it in VLC player, it stopped right at the spot where those two files were merged. ToolNix did show the audio was FLAC. So I take it neither tsMuxer nor MLVToolNix don't really work with FLAC correctly? Or what am I missing? I'm not too technically advanced, so I'd appreciate any input very much!
Absolutely beautiful!

16mm: The renders are done and ready-to-go. I'll have them available either tonight or tomorrow evening.
LD: I've finally temporally aligned all three side1s. I'm working on IVTCing currently. There was a field dropped in the master (i.e., the same field is gone on all three LDs) which causes a cadence break. I'm trying to figure out whether or not I should drop the field or insert an interpolated one.
Hi! Can I already start looking for 16mm on Usenet? But before I do that as a long time lurker I just want to express my deepest appreciation for what you guys do! :)
After this weekend, yes.
It's also now available at this mega-cool website I've been hearing about.
Sorry to bug you, but is it already available on Usenet?

Thanks for the tip! But if this is the site everybody has been constantly mentioning around here, unfortunately I've no way to sneak in. Guess I should wait for this weekend to end - what a stupid thing to say though :)
No, my hint has nothing to do with how much my spleen hurts. There's no invitation required to experience its pain.
Okay, I'm officially confused now. Talking in riddles you are...

Thanks for your story, and glad you enjoyed the release. We are working on the other films, and are sure there will be multiple ways to access them.

Well, I've found a way to sneak into Usenet, so now I'm sure I'll have it figured out! :)

Keep up the good work guys! These are exciting times! :)
Hi guys
Just watched your Renegade Grindhouse edition of ESB. Took me about 4 hours to download it from The Piratebay, where some kind anonymous soul uploaded it to (no invites on MySpleen and no premium account on Usenet Downloader for my country - yikes!), but it was totally worth the wait!
But it's not the post about that, it's about appreciation and excitement for your work. It's totally amaizing! I guess you guys make a lot of people happy, me included. Growing up on the outskirts of the Soviet Empire, I never got a chance to watch original Star Wars theatrically (banned for political reasons of course), but I imagine this is how ESB would look if only I had a chance to see it in cinemas in my childhood. Ah, the sweet 80's :)
Now I'm really excited about all other Star Wars films preservations you're working on (including the final version of ESB) and will be there when you finish them - that is, if another kind anonymous soul will be willing to upload them to torrents. And if not, I'll figure out a way to get ahold of them anyway.
Thanks again for that tremendous work you do to keep us fans happy!
