Pink or red doesn’t really matter. They’re engines, the colors don’t mean anything.

The Death Star graphics though is something I’m worried about. It was a simple mistake in the original. Rogue One using the same graphics was their way of fixing the mistake - same as adywan in ANHR - by making it seem like it was intentional. But it still makes little sense, and requires a bullshit explanation outside of the film to explain why it’s that way (the hard drive has every version of the plans I guess?). Even with that silly explanation, it doesn’t make any sense at all for the Rebels to be using and showing out of date plans when they’re planning their attack. I think you can still keep continuity with RO and still fix the plans (in RO we see early versions of the plans and in ANH we see the current plans). To use the old graphics for the briefing scene is a huge misstep, I think.

I concur with this assessment. For continuity with the excellent work he has done with Revisited in bridging the gap between the prequel graphics and the OT - I would hope he keeps the graphics he used for ANH-R, and perhaps change them in R1 to match. I mean if you look at the marketing posters for R1, the schematics for the Death Star are almost a dead ringer for the DS graphics Ady used in the Briefing Room scene.

Unless the dot matrix equator dish schematic serves as a kind of animated gif tag that identifies the Stardust file. R1 did not showcase any other graphics, not the wireframe trench or anything else. Maybe that equator dish graphic can serve as an identifier of the file, like an icon rather than the schematics themselves.

It’s also a bit late to consider now, but Bandai is releasing a stunning accurate ESB Scout Walker model kit for the 40th anniversary along with the most detailed AT-AT I have seen sold at retail. The AT-AT will even feature moveable legs, joints and guns, both side and chin guns. Someone postulated that it was engineered for doing go-motion/stop motion movies at home on an iPhone.

These models look badass awesome fine.

You mentioned rolling back the Revisited Death Star Plans because of Rogue One. Just wondered if you plan on going back to the pink X-Wing engine glow too.

Yes, the engines are now pink.

Progress on the Wampa;

Started layering the fur onto the mask. A very time consuming task as this has to be done in small sections at a time. I’ll be gluing the fur onto the mask as much as possible and then hair punching the rest to blend in the edges to give a more natural look.

So most likely march cool looking forward to seeing it.

Where did you get that idea?

There’s not many days left in the month that’s why.

What?

Now what did i do? Give me a damn break. I didn’t do anything this time.

I’d rather have the clarity and all the film grain from the 2014 Mi4K release but color timed how it looked in cinemas in 1984. No revisionist color timing but as close in appearance to the original intention would be great.
Unless if the 2014 Mi4K, the Mi4K with bonus features, AND the UHD are the intention, then all I need is the PCM track.

Hell yeah same goes for the despised but i like it ghostbusters 2.

I enjoy GHOSTBUSTERS II. Just wish the BD of it had way more bonus features.

Couldn’t agree with you more. Hell it’s missing a lot of deleted footage

Well, this was supposed to stay a secret, but since you insisted, I guess Ady won’t mind if I share it with you.

I am Adywan from about 20 years into the future, by the time I had finished RotJ:R, Disney had released 10 other Star Wars movies, so I went a little bonkers. Maybe… I thought some characters from the prequels didn’t get enough attention so…

Mistakes were made…

I don’t know wither laugh or cringe at that.

Stop.

Can you answer this?

For someone with the handle of Jedi Master Obi-Wan, you would think he would be more patient.

I was asking if he would do both of them at the same time. Because i wanted to watch this version with my grandma. We watch eps one and two right now were watching the clone wars.

So you want both done in 40 years?

What the hell?

I was being serious and all people do on here is treat me like a joke.

I thought you were going to take a break from this thread. We even had an extensive PM conversation about it. How long did you make it, after your absolutely awful outburst? A week? And not even coming back as a changed person with good behavior. Back to your same old bullshit.

I know you’re autistic and you don’t necessarily see these interactions as clearly as you should. But you can still choose not to participate in the types of conversations you always start. You can still choose not to beg and demand and immediately get angry with people. You can choose not to post.

sorry didn’t know how long of break i was supposed to take.

any hint what a new hope revisited hd’s color correction will look like?

Probably purple. Maybe some red.

And how the hell do you even remotely think i could post a preview pic of how ANH:R HD is going to look when i have stated that i haven’t even started yet? Should i just phone up the Doctor and ask to borrow his TARDIS for a few minutes while i pop into the future and grab a screengrab?

The way you speak to people on this site is one of the reasons you get ribbed. Even when people are just poking fun in a lighthearted way, like we do all the time, you respond like this. And it’s also the reason why i would kindly ask you NOT to post any more in ANY of my threads. I’m sick and tired of the way you act, then start the same excuses. There comes a point when it has to be put to a halt. I may not be able to get rid of you here, but consider yourself gone from the facebook page and twitter is likely to follow too, thanks to you constantly cross posting the same comments between all 3 (even copy and pasting the same comment about asking me to do anh at the same time as jedi that you posted here on a post i made about how ill i have been this past week.), so i know which account to block on facebook. There may no longer be an ignore feature on this site, but don’t expect any replies from me about any questions you have about these projects from now on.

Nevermind i just have one last question and please please answer it. Are you considering doing both jedi and a new hope at the same time if you answer this i’ll try not to talk on here anymore.

Color grading update:

I’ve been using the Director’s Cut footage, but after trying out my techniques with the International Cut footage, it’s giving much better results, so I’m going to end up using that. And it all works out, because the first 45 minutes of the International Cut is identical to the Director’s Cut.

New regrade vs original:

New regrade vs previous regrade:

EDIT: I’ve made an adjustment to the new grade.

New regrade vs new regrade with adjustment:

Original vs new regrade with adjustment:

You still doing this?
