The ability to miss Frink’s bad jokes seems like a bliss.

One of my favourites (Kotonoha no Niwa):
You’re dismissed.
The truth cannot be dismissed.
Well you don’t have to think about it in anime because it’s right there in front of you, so no surprise there.
I have seen many anime and I don’t remember these scenes. What kind of anime do you watch, you perv?
You know what I never think when watching something? I never think “Man, this movie could use some underage girl upskirt scenes.”
But apparently that makes me close-minded.
Why would you even think about that kind stuff? I don’t even think about thinking about that kind of stuff when I watch anime/films.
Okay then.
Frink, you just got dismissed again.
Real life is for losers who can’t handle anime.
You do not argue with imperialscum. You oppose the truth.
Man, everyone here is so defensive of their animes. Most of my friends watch plenty of anime but when I make fun of it (or them for watching it), they all laugh.
I’m just tired of the two people on this forum who care that some people enjoy Japanese media; they care so much that they have to bring up the fact that they don’t like it all the time. They also insinuate that viewers of such media are inherently immature.
No insinuations necessary, the viewers are objectively (empirically?) immature.
When it comes to viewers like Frink, yes. Otherwise, no.
In your mind you can think that.
I’ve seen every anime.
You must really love tentacles in order to insist on watching all the “dirty” stuff.
Naruto, DBZ, etc. is bad.
The difference is I’ve seen every anime…
That is total BS.
…and it is objectively stupid.
And so is that.
Hmmm…I’m going to need to see your lab notes to verify the veracity of your claims.
No need for that. I certify his claims as absolute truth.
The difference is I’ve seen every anime and it is objectively stupid.

Is that a dictionary explanation for “TV’s Frink” entry?
Okay… you are dismissed.
I tried to Google “anime watched by TV’s Frink” and the only result is the “I got scared by a pair of boobs at the beginning of Ghost in the Shell”.
It’s interesting how you define a refusal to watch misogynistic trash as “scared.”
I am not Google.
Regardless, I’ve seen all of them.
“If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all” doesn’t apply when it comes to boobs.
I am really curious. Those of you who dislike anime, could you please list 3-5 most highly regarded anime that you have watched.
Impossible because there aren’t any highly regarded ones.
Then list 3-5 you thought were the least bad.
They’re all tied for most bad.
Then list 3-5 random… or all of them.
What, is Google broken today?

One thing that I can hardly stand is the kind of person who sees “anime” differently from other animated media. Even use of the term “anime” bothers me at times, because it’s already displaying it as being different from other “cartoons”. I say this regarding both sides of the matter.
Well it is different. The term “anime” is used (at least in the west) to describe a style of animation from Japan.
Well, that’s not my point. Anime simply refers to Japanese animation, and the inherent styles (the term is a shortening of “animation” spelled in the romanization of phonetic Japanese: animēshon).
People see anime differently than animation from any other country. There are specific trends and styles in anime that make it almost instantly recognizable. What makes it so special, and why is it that people often fail to realize that anime is not all the same exact style?
Western art often has a generalized look to it, but I certainly doubt anybody thinks that all western artists draw in the same style. Why can’t people see differences in Japanese art?
Just because you can see similarities and similar inspirations in various pieces of Japanese art and animation, that doesn’t mean it’s all the same. Most Japanese comic art and animation is of a trending style, just like in America.
Well no one said all anime are the same. Still they are distinct from western animation. One of the main distinction that is common to all is the language.
I went through an anime phase when I was younger, but then I grew up.
Well these kind of childish statements doesn’t really support that claim.
Yeah well your childish face doesn’t support your nose.
More evidence against your claim…
