Im still working on the remaster, i improved my skills… but some parts i need to clean it manually and thats very time consuming…

This movie was never released in DVD, its only available in VHS.
The five reels were scanned in 5K , i’m alone working in restore and remaster the complete movie.

People that can help and donate for the project, will recieve some raw scans, advance of the work and the final 4k video when everything is done
So far i spent more than $450 for buying and scanning the reels…

I use amarectv to capture in 1080i with AMV2 codec or if you preffer you can use UTvideo codec.

I use SABNZBD its free, forget that mimo crap..

This is not originally film, was recorded pure interlaced 29.97fps ,  there is no way to convert to 24fps without losing motion.

Are you using Avisynth MT i guess :P

Be careful with FF3dfilter dont abuse it or the image will be full of jaggies.  Second QTMC convert it to 59.976 fps , are you using SelectEven / SelectOdd to put it to 29.976 progressive?  This video is pure interlaced so it will never be very smooth like the original source if you deinterlace it.

Is better if you use

separatefields()
selectevery(4,0,3)
weave()

This come at the end of the script to convert it again to 29.976 interlaced.
Always work in Avi without compression i recommend you Lagarith.

 That's the WBBM-TV 2 Chicago version.  I haven't added it to the list yet.

There's also a WCAU-TV 10 Philadelphia version, and a newly-discovered Seattle TV version.

Frankly, I'm pretty amazed at how many different versions have turned up, considering how rare VCRs were back in 1978.  I'm sure there were a number of copies that were lost, too.

The problem with Rifftrax is that the image have blended frames (ghosting) and its very annoying.. but ill try to replace that part.
