The Big ESB Reveal

Back on topic, ruining the surprises of later episodes is like reading a book that begins by telling you how things will end and then proceeds to tell the story as if nothing was said.

Sort of like this then...

Bill Shake-y wrote:

"Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their death bury their parents' strife.
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their parents' rage,
Which, but their children's end, nought could remove,
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,

What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend."

Wait...

did I just use Shakespeare to semi-defend the prequels?

Fuck!

Quick, Quick. Come up with something to bring them down...

Erm...

Bill Shake-y wrote:

"It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, And signifying nothing."

The prequels remain undefended once again

:D

Dinner with Lucas
Time

Tobar said:

So if you got the chance to eat dinner with George Lucas what would you talk about? What would you ask him?

Me: So George, this wine is pretty good, eh?

George: Yeah, he he. Just like my prequel films...

Me: No George. This wine DOESN'T taste like urine. How many times do I have to keep telling you? Anyways... (Looks at wine bottle) Yikes, this is pretty expensive. Glad you're paying, you being a billionaire and all...

George: He he, actually I was kinda hoping you would pay.

Me: (Into Wine glass) Cheapskate Cunt

George: What was that?

Me: Oh, nothing. Nothing. (Pours George another glass) Here, have some more.

George: Thanks (George downs the glass in one gulp)

(I pull out a contract and will of tesiment)

Me: George could you just sign this please?

George: Sure, fine. Ok

(George signs the contract, enabling me the rights and stuff.)

Me: Thanks George. (Get's up) Well, that's all I really came for. Enjoy the rest of your poisoned Wine. Ta ta!

(I walk off, as George falls face first into his spaghetti Bolognase)

Me: Evil Laugh (Lightning strikes)

...................

Probably something like that.

Maybe.

George doesn't have a food taster, does he?

Star Trek TNG on BluRay confirmed !
Time

Perhaps I'm not clear.

We WANT them to re-do the SFX form TNG and Bab5?

I thought this website is against that type of thing?

The trouble with TNG is that unlike TOS, alot of the editing and effects were done using video Tapes. Which is obviously a pretty low resolution thing compared to blu-ray.

Editing for Deep Space Nine and voyager were also done using video tapes. They released an up-scaled version of the DS9 episode 'Trials and Tribble-ations' on the second season TOS blu-ray, which was pretty piss poor. That probably explains why they are redoing the compositing and re-editing the episodes of TNG.

At least Paramount tries to release a quality product, unlike Lucasfilm.
That's 11 points for Trek, 4 for Wars so far. Come on Lucas, step up your game.

I might actually buy a blu-ray player now, better make that 12 points for trek.

:D
