Not sure what I would do about the controller though since I'm not the biggest fan of the X-Box controller.
Meh from me, too. This looks like any other action movie of the last 10 years.

Not what I meant, twister! :P
Can't we all agree this is why we watch the Olympics?
edit - I'm sad to see the new thread title. I don't think it's wrong to root for your country and I don't think it's wrong to root for other countries' athletes. Everyone should enjoy the Olympics in their own way, and if they don't enjoy the Olympics that's also okay.

I always say "life is meaningless, so what?" Let's just enjoy the ride, even if the bus goes nowhere interesting. Even better, let's take the wheel and see what happens!!
Put John Noble's face on the Queen - it's still the Queen.
Also,
I'm not as interested in the Olympics this year, but I'll try to catch some events online or something. I've always enjoyed gymnastics - incredible feats of strength. And as boring as it may sound, the long distance races are my favorites because of my own running history.
Tennis, also. I always love tennis. Watching Federer play tennis is one of the amazing things in this world. And not to rehash the earlier discussion, but I'm less interested in rooting for countries and more in just seeing great performances and competition.
Here is your answer.

^ How about the Sierra adventure games? Those were great, too.
I miss the 90s dearly. Best time to be a kid. Great cartoons and great games. Watching PC gaming (as well as console gaming) grow from the early to late 90s was incredible. However, the rise of 3D gaming on PC did also lead to an oversaturation of shooters and action games (something we still have today), and the relegation of adventure games to a niche following.
I digress.
Battle Royale - 8/10
This is one of those movies I should have seen a long time ago. It starts a bit silly, and the overacting of the school children is laughable in early parts, but it's an exciting movie. I was always hesitant to watch because of the nature of the violence, but it wasn't as graphic as its reputation suggests (though still quite graphic). Maybe I need to rewatch certain parts of the movie, but one thing that stands out is the teacher, Kitano, basically instrumenting the whole affair because he was tired of snotty kids mistreating him.
Anyway, good movie overall.
It's sad that I've seen so many headlines call this the "Batman killing spree", "Batman shooting", or something similar.
This type of incident can happen anywhere. The guy chose a crowded movie theater on opening night.
Nobody should feel ashamed for seeing and enjoying the movie. The movie did not cause the incident.

Metreon IMAX in San Francisco. Can't find a pic with the screen, but it's huge and wonderful.
I'll be at this one, 3:45 am Friday morning!
I went at 8am. When people starting walking out of the 3:45am show, I was tempted to continuously yell, "FAN FILTRAAAAAAAATTTIIIOOOOOONNN!!" Alas, I did not.
