I've lost virtually all interest in sports. The more I think about it, the bigger waste of time it is to follow sports with anything more than a passing interest. Some people I know invest themselves too much into sports outcomes.

I don't hate sports. I just think we as a society place waaaaay too much emphasis on them, and this lends these sports leagues to be highly corrupt and profit-driven.

Sometimes a person going through a rough time and being hostile just needs someone to put a hand on his/her shoulder and ask, "Hey, are you okay?"

Labeling someone as angry, hostile, unstable, etc. is a cold, unsympathetic path to take. You can never know what someone is going through unless you are in that person's shoes.

Is this thing on????

Spielberg didn't really want to do Indy 4. Georgie convinced him. That's why Indy 4 was "missing something." Spielberg did it but wasn't really invested in it.

Plus, him and the actors are all saying, "We'll do it if George writes it." That doesn't sound reassuring, unless people think there isn't enough evidence of Lucas not being a very competent writer.

"I would! And I, in fact, just talked with Steven Spielberg recently - we e-mailed back and forth, and I said, 'What should I say? I'm doing this publicity, what should I say if people ask me that question?' And he said, 'It's in George's [Lucas] hands! I'm game, Harrison's game, and now it's up to George to write the script or to get the script organized, and the story.' And so I think it's - they want to do a fifth, from what I understand, but they don't want to do it just to do it, they want to do it if they can come up with a story that everybody is happy with and that everybody likes."

LOL.

The Saragossa Manuscript

Really interesting Polish film about two soldiers on opposite sides of the war who find a manuscript written by the Spanish soldier's grandfather.

I swear Christopher Nolan must have seen this movie, because the second half of it essentially delves into stories within stories, detailing the history of some gypsies that the Spanish ancestor came across. I'd have to watch again to understand everything.

8/10

LOL horrible. Looks so cartoonish and unnatural.

This is why I don't buy many high profile BD releases. Too much tampering. Fellowship of the Ring had the blanket green tint, as if someone just dragged a marker along a slider scale and applied it to every frame.

Now they've done the same with Raiders, except a blanket yellow tint.

Won't be getting my money. Then again they weren't going to get it anyway.
