just watch the video, chumps
You underestimate my power.
Did I do that?
You mean OTTO? We have a thread for that.
Why do birds suddenly appear?
Some of the CGI in AOTC sticks out terribly. Way too polished. TPM actually had a decent amount on set work and felt more "real".

Isn't her head a little big for a Sith Lord?
What? Oh, the breathing suit.

I haven't posted in this forum in years, but I assume everyone has seen the RedLetterMedia reviews right?
Pizza roll jokes aside, those reviews are spot on in my opinion.
I thought the thread title was "Religion-free Blu-Ray". I was wondering how that would work.
Dishonored is getting great reviews. They're all saying it's a game that actually lets you play and explore instead of holding your hand.
No.
Not a fan of more tinkering with the OT and selling these special edition iterations to people as the "final vision". But most SW fans will still buy anyway, because, you know, it's SW.
No thanks.
I picked the right week to start.
If you cover the ears, it looks like Alan Arkin.
Looks like Hans Moleman.

I suggest we stop making political/religious threads that I have to stay out of because I always accidentally open them while trying to get a different thread and read a post or two because I'm only human and then rage, and then want to tell you all off, and then halfway into typing something up I realize I don't want to get dragged into some inane discussion about stuff that doesn't really matter in the end anyway because no progress is made and nobody's minds are ever changed.
You are tearing me apart, Lisa.
That's just, like, your opinion, man.
I love the "glug" sound he makes in "Locomotive Breath". It's at about 3:01. LOL.

I suspect less. It certainly looks to me like the new transfer has suffered from a modern teal-and-orange digital colour grading.
Oh joy. More of that.

Watched the pilot for Elementary out of curiosity.
It's a rather implausible, slightly silly police procedural with a few clearly forced elements of House MD about it.
Not the worst thing I've seen on the box but it doesn't need or deserve the references to Sherlock Holmes in it.
Ah, but it does, doesn't it? Gotta take advantage of the popularity of BBC's Sherlock.
Like you said, it's basically another police procedural in a long line of others on the CBS network, masquerading as a Sherlock Holmes show.
But I may yet watch because I love me some Lucy Liu.
All it seems they did was take the awful Lowry print and slighty brighten it. But all the color timing issues, crushed blacks, etc. remain.
Meh.
I like how each succeeding column's frames are darker than the ones to their left. Makes me glad I didn't buy the blu-rays (among plentiful other reasons). The colors on the dvds were bad enough, and despite many people's claims that they were improved for the blu-rays, they weren't.
