T-HOPE ULTIMATE TERMINATOR PROJECT (Mainly Released)
Time
T-Hope,

I'm known as Magna13 on the other forum and I'm that Canadian who's keeping an eye open for you in case the alternate Canadian Tv version is shown again. Well, while searching on my Bell Express Vue monitor for anything Terminator-related, I came across the following documentary. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the channel presenting it but hopefully someone else in Canada can preserve it for you (and me as well :-) Here are the details I get when I hit "info":

CHANNEL: ACTN (channel 334 on Express Vue)

TITLE: Stuntdawgs

DESCRIPTION: The T-2 Motorcycle Jump Part 1. Stuntman Peter H. Kent recreates the famous motorcycle jump scene from “Terminator 2”. (Stereo)

The show is 30 minute long and will be on on the following dates/times:

Aug. 29th at 7 pm
Aug. 30th at 1:30 am
Aug 30th at 3 pm
Sept 1st at 8:30 pm
Sept 2nd at 11:30 am

No word yet on an obvious “Part 2”. I’ll keep you posted!

Idea: The Thing (XBox)
Time
Alright...since no wants to give it a try, I'm going to do it by myself.

However, I have no idea when it will be completed but it should be soon after Spring Break. I do have the material to capture from the XBox (I have a Hauppage WinTV Tuner) but I need to improve my skills on editing transitions between gameplay footage and cutscenes so that it looks smooth (for both sound and picture).

I'll keep you guys updated...

Wish me luck!

Idea: The Thing (XBox)
Time

I’m certainly not the first one to have this idea, but how about creating a movie using cutscenes and gameplay footage from THE THING (the XBox video game) ? That would be a great sequel to John Carpenter’s classic.

For those who don’t know, the game picks up where the movie left and it is actually good.

There’s even a trailer that could be included on the DVD: simply don’t press start when you load the game and the trailer will start.

I’m sure Daveytod would do a great job with this, as he did with his 24 and Star Wars edits based on video games.

What do you people think?
