Really clean looking covers. Well done.
Really clean looking covers. Well done.
God bless you. I will not share this with anyone.
I just want to say to everyone that is working so incredibly hard on this:
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Getting back to the Imax stuff, I wonder if it would be much hassle to cut out those sequences / re-sync with the proper surround audio and just present them as a standalone feature.
It's a tremendous hassle. There are a lot of missing frames in the commentary. Additionally, some of the BTS windows obscure footage that can't be comp'ed out with the 1080p version of the film.
I've got a rough version done (I don't think the surround sound is in there), but it's cut together from front to back. It's just impossible to be incomplete unless there were some serious effects genius around these parts.

No but I'll leave you to your business. :P
That's fine. Let me know if you want to watch, and I'll inbox you.
I love watching this thread.
The color timing is completely off on the Blu-Ray. This preservation would be preferable to having the Blu-Ray.
Wow.
No spam intended, but you might have to add another audio track option: in Navajo.

Harmy. I'm in love with you. If I were of a different persuasion, perhaps we could get married and talk about color timing until we grew old together. Fantastic work.
Awesome! Can't wait!
That sounds really exciting! Can't wait.
Stellar. I can't thank you enough for all of the hard work and determination on your part for this set.
Awesome cover work, everyone!
But, I hate to be this guy, but would anyone have Imrahil's Boba Fett label for this reconstruction work? It would be fantastic if someone did.
That looks stellar. Please, please, please put it in the reconstruction, as it would be stellar to have it be as close to the originals as possible.
I just downloaded the Angrysvn preservation of THX 1138 from laserdisc and it looked fine, but could use improvement. It wasn't anamorphic, either, which made me sad.
But an American Graffiti preservation would be much appreciated. Please, please, please, please do.
Mr. Adywan, sir, I'm a long time listener, third-time commenter or so (I think) and I'm joining the chorus of MANY THANKS for doing so much to fix Star Wars.
(Edited because question was answered)
In closing, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. That is all.
I'm surprised no one hasn't mentioned Shaun of the Dead, unless someone has, in which case, I'm surprised I didn't catch it. They have/had a two-disc set in the UK, which I would love to get my somewhat greasy hands on on rip through.
If someone could screengrab the shot of Enterprise emerging from the shockwave at the end of the movie, that would make a lovely image on the back.
What cover? Could someone PM me a link to this or, perhaps, the picture?
Additionally, could you put a pause function on the audio? That would be lovely if possible.
And I'm totally for disc and case art, but I can't do it because I'm weak.
Since the new headline is "RECALLED!," I'm assuming there's going to be a second issuing of the Special Longer Version in the pipeline?
After-the-fact idea (since it sounds like your Episode II is already in the can), but would it be a good idea to make all the Jedi Masters' lightsabers green? In thinking about the purple lightsaber debate, the purpleness does come out of left field in the grand scheme of things. There was no precedent set and, if I am remembering my Star Wars correctly, ONLY Mace Windu has a purple lightsaber, so there's no payoff as to why only HE has the purple saber. Also, there are many blue and green lightsabers out in the galaxy, but ONE purple saber?
This line of thinking of rotoscoping to green would also be paid off in the grand scheme of things by continuing all the way to ROTJ, when Luke busts out his green lightsaber.
Sorry to bring up a potentially finished debate, but I'm interested in getting into the creative process and manipulating others so I can see only what I want and no one else's vision, period. (Just kidding, by the way [mostly]).
TheDoctor1987 said:Here are some great covers that i recently found that grace my 2006 set matching the Prequels. I couldn't stand the disc art on the 2006 set so i replaced it with these there the best labels i can find.
Star Wars
Return Of The Jedi
Disc Label
I do like the artwork, but the one thing that bugs me are the special features, or the second disc listed. Are those discs real and, if so, where would I find them?
