Worth it to you, maybe not, for me, HELL YES! we have improved on even the best source and we will have 3 versions and try and have all extras on 1 release, so is this worth it? for us it is a no brainer, our sources are the Happinet, Splendid and color version.

did not mean to make it sound like I am ungrateful, I am very happy you guys are working on it, and have been more than impressed with your releases.

I am just not as sure as the rest of the Internet on the merits of the JP disc.

I am looking forward to seeing your efforts however.

What was the main source for NOTLD 68?

This, perhaps? http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Night-of-the-Living-Dead-Blu-ray/12228/

Maybe this: http://www.diabolikdvd.com/category/Cult-Favorites/Night-of-the-Living-Dead-%2840th-Anniversary-Japanese-Import%29-%28Blu~Ray%29.html

I have the two UK Blu's personally.

Just wondered if the upgrade will be worth it like all the other titles.

Would love to see how good/bad these HI-Vision LD look for real.

Some anonymous person captured a couple of the shot-on-HD-video MUSE discs. At least one of them can still be found online. Not sure if the image hotlinks will work, but:

Note all the edge ghosting.

Reportedly, most of these discs looked better than the film transfers.

The quality really varied from disc to disc wildly.
