Who's to say you won't see it? You just won't see it from him at least until he gets permission or he changes his mind.

Sorry but the whole "permission" thing is BS. Clearly he doesn't care about it or else he wouldn't be posting pictures, clips and creating a website about it.

This whole thing is created just to tease us.

Young Indiana Jones... a preservation (* unfinished project *) - a mass of info & ideas
Time
Sure. I could do it. But i have a ton of other stuff I want to get out first.

I'd probably want to see if anyone else has a better source as well. I know one of mine is cut (that's how it was broadcast in my area of CT) and there are some others that were never broadcast in the US. I'd love those as well.

If anyone wants to collaborate if/when I get around to doing it, please let me know.

Jambe,

I just tried watching it and it froze and returned to the main menu in the middle of the ewok battle. is this the layer change? is there something wrong?

Go to the first post of this thread and download the fixed IFO set. The demonoid version has the chapter 23 end jump mistakenly set to main menu. JD's new IFO's fix this...

Thanks man. sucks that i already burned it

Btw...how can i get the artwork from the original lightsaber poster? is it somewhere in this thread?

years ago they were supposed to release full bitrate PCM audio versions of the trilogy on laserdisc under the THX laserdisc program sadly they were cancelled and never released.

IIRC, Raiders and TOD were among the "test" titles released without any mention of THX on the packaging. (The others were Apocalypse Now and Star Trek 6.) They were "unofficial" in that the final specs for THX Laserdiscs had not been decided on, but the widescreen remasters went through what became THX mastering. Not sure about Last Crusade, as it I think it came out in widescreen before the others.

Last Crusade came out in 90 with the regular VHS and S-VHS releases.

There is a complete Raiders 2CD that I released. All the cues are without sound effects.

There was never an expanded TOD release...EVER.

I believe the HD versions of the first two movies were just 720p. I could be wrong.

And I always find it funny when people want a movie "just the way it looked in theaters"...20 years later. Do you really think you remember it?

If I want 'Raiders' the way I remember it looking, I'll need to get ahold of a 35mm print scratched to shit.

exactly.

that was the first time i saw it in theaters was in a rhode island movie theater about 4 years ago. But then I had the pleasure of seeing a brand new 35mm print...which probably looked a lot like the DVD's

why so many menus?

Different text panels from the text supplements on the laserdiscs.

bdev, thanks so much for your dedication to this. I really can't wait for the result.

ah. so that's how you do it? I figured. That's what i was going to do with the dracula disc and others. i probably should have. There was too much text crap. i might do that with evita.

I'm not looking for disc art. I'm looking for case artwork and menu artwork.

If someone could do something along the lines of the original soundtrack/script, that would be hot (man on wire against blue background).
