the only reason this existed in the first place was because the earlier dvd release was shit, as far as i know that's why jay allowed it.

i sure hope the criterion cut will appear on an official dvd release, but i doubt any of the special features will be preserved. I also doubt that cuts going to be on the 3 disc set. as far as i know it's going to be a restored theatrical, the restored director's cut, and a brand new cut being prepared for theatrical release.

the euro cut was never released here except by criterion exclusively and i have never heard whether or not this was appoved by Ridley or just the studio.

That's the only reason why I did my version of the HD version. The other release was absolute crap. I deleted the torrent when it was released.

The Euro cut added brief scenes of violence. check IMDB.

There are a lot of people on JWfan that have made fan edits of AOTC. There supposedly is a good deal of music in the video games.

I had done my own versions of these from the original VHS. I think i might also have a DVD from the US laserdisc release as well.

I think they look damn good...but then again, I'm not expecting much.

The official set is L A M E. All it did was include the deleted scenes as they are in the TV version (hence the credits). They couldn't have been more lazy.

This is not the way to do it.

You're only going to get a 4x3 non-anamorphic single-layer version unless you have component inputs on your recorder and are prepared to break this into two and do some work.

Sorry but it would be pretty worthless.

That was my intention but these things take a long time to create. I thought I might start collecting material now. Can anyone come up with a definitive list of behind the scenes video of Raiders?

I could definitely get you copies. It's been a while since I listened to them but I know Last Crusade has some dialogue that was never in the movie. Now you make me wanna go listen to them again

I have all 3 as well and mentioned them to him. he said he wasn't interested.

I could never do as good as job as he has so I'm not going to even bother trying. And if anyone else wanted to take a crack at it (no pun intended), I'd be happy to send you masters. Mine are the original vinyl.
