CRC read errors?
Time
the brand i am using tr47 is the same as you ritek, and i am a version behind on my burner firmware update,i have a pioneer dvr-108,but what is strange, it is only movie #2 nothing else, well i have movie #2 captured already, and am putting the avi files together and extracting the wav file so i can process that, and then going to encode again with TMPGEnc plus overnight video only,i just dont get it never had this problem before and it kind of bothers me,so before i burn anymore i will update my drive,or hell maybe buy the dvr-109.
the other brand dvdr's i have are memorex, and TDK and 2 3-pack verbatim dual layer dvd+r's are these any good?
thanks everyone for the help on this

CRC read errors?
Time
the program i used for this set was DVDit PE but i have DVDlab Pro,and just got Adobe Encore, but dont know how to use them yet i also have TMPGEnc DVD Author, but dont know how to use this yet either.
i guess what is really confusing to me is why only movie #2(2 different burns with 2 different setups, but same authoring proggie)thats why i am asking if it could have gotten messed up somehow during the encoding from TMPGEnc Plus?

CRC read errors?
Time
can someone please explain to me how you get these CRC read errors?i did a set of movies,1 with menus and 1 without menus,3 films each and an extras disc, and the 2nd film had a bunch of CRC read errors but the other 2 films and the extras disc had none, every disc was burned the same using the same media and the same speed, but movie #2(the with and without menu version had the CRC read errors)why is this ?so i dont make this mistake any more, but the movie plays great in the dvd player to watch, could the errors come from the avi to dvd process or no?or from the authoring, which still seems to me it goes back to the avi to dvd(which i am using the latest TMPGEnc Plus)i am stumped i hope some of you experts here can help me figure this out,so in the mean time i am re-capturing movie #2,and doing it ALL over.
thanks for your time

chapter points question
Time
hi guys i am doing some captureing of some sw,blade runner, and some disney lds and was wondering what is the best way to put the chapter points in,besides using tmpgenc dvd author,i really cant figure this proggy out and i dont like having to use thier templates, plus i like to have sound on my menu's,i have been using dvdit pe,so any suggestions would be great,i have the movies and extras all captured and they look good and sound great but i am tired of using generic chapter points,i think it is time to step up and put them where they are suppose to go.
thanks in advance for the help
