1 thing,I agree it looks nice,and I am sorry for not mentioning it either,but if you want it to match what i am releasing,you might want to take off the menu shot,that menu will NOT be on my release,and yes the HD2DVD thing would be nice,but hey like Cassidy said,anyone is free to make whatever they want,and use any one they want,if it is OK with you I will download it and add it to the dvd-rom folder on the disc.

ALL my HD2DVD releases are Anamorphic,even Creature Form The Black Lagoon,and the sequel Revenge Of The Creature,although on these 2 titles,there are black bars on the side,and they to are anamorphic,just like shown on HDTV,but if you were to watch either of these on a 4:3 TV,there will be black bars on ALL 4 sides,but these are really for the widescreen owners,I also have Halloween II now,because of all the files rounding up,I havent had time to make my scripts and encode yet,so hoepfully I will get to start in a day or two.
This is the order I will do them:

Jaws II
Childs Play
Revenge OF The Creature
Halloween II

these are already finished:

The Monster Squad
Creature from The Black Lagoon(this has Stereo sound,the original was in mono,but I kept it just the way it was shown on monstersHD,this is probably the same for Revnege as well)

Also every HD2DVD project I do has custom artwork made by my friend TheCassidy,Childs Play is really looking cool too.

the monster squad I already did(it is on Myspleen now),I have been doing an HD2DVD collection of rare and non widescreen movies,and whatever else I fell like doing,I have these titles done so far:
The Monster Squad
Sheena
Creature From he Black Lagoon ( and I have Revenge of The Creature also,I may do this too in HD2DVD fashion)
Jaws II
and still looking for more titles to do,I wasnt aware there is NO widescreen version of Childs Play available,I will get it now,and add it to my HD2DVD collection.

why are you so worried about looking at screenies?forget the damn screenshots and just make a set,it isnt all that hard,and they turned out fantastic,and i have to disagree with what was said in another thread,editdroid set is NOT better than these,somebody is definitelt drinking Drano,sure these are not perfect,but NOONE here can make a perfect set,the ONLY person that can give us Perfection is GL,but these will do untill the next round of "OFFICIAL" releases.
I really want to see what the X0 can do myself,this has been hyped so much,thread after thread, that,DAMN, it should be way better than these,hopefully some day we will ALL see,I have said this before and I will say it again,this is only MY opinion,I think this set is better than ANY LD Capture release to date,now I said "LD".

well I have them all converted now,and I must say,these are now my favorite versions,on MY setup NO ld capture looks as good as these after I used DVD-RB Pro v1.10.6b and CCE SP 6 pass encoding,and ALL menus and extras are intact(I did rob from the extras to add to the quality of the movie though),I have watched SW,now I am putting in ESB,these look great converted with the above recommended program from Doctor M,thanks again,you were ALOT of help.
also I think I have all versions out except X0 obviously,and the Eraser Set,but I compared this set to ALL others I have,and I like these,I am watching on a 62' DLP Hi-Def TV,with an OPPO Upconvert DVD multi region player,alot of the others look way to filtered to me(like I said,at least on my setup)hell even my Japanese cropped set looks to be filtered to much compared to these.
just thought I would throw this info out there,so if anyone else plans on making anamorphic versions,DVD-RB Pro is SOOOO easy,and VERY good quality as well.

Thank You much Doctor M,you have opened my eyes to some new software,and DAMN did it make the conversion easy,and it kept the greedo subtitles too,thanks alot for the info on DVD-RB pro 1.10.7
and it kept everything in tact,but i did have it take 50% quality form extras,to add to the movie,and I still got to use CCE SP,EXCELLENT recomendation.

What steps would you use to do this right,obviously rip to hard drive,then crop and IVTC,then I saw you mentioned Limitedsharpen,then re-size add appropriate borders and re-encode with CCE SP2 at ? (how many passes would you use)also is there any other filters you might use,I was thinking Didee's SeeSaw,but what denoiser would be good,I guess you cant answer that untill you see the source.
I really want to do this right,I have done it already a few times on LD captures,but I have never done an anamorphic conversion of a DVD,this will be my first time,but looking forward to the challenge,hopefully with a few tips from you and others, I will get this right.

what do you mean,I cant distribute this after I do it,this will be available on the shelf at the store,the Original Trilogy is NOW out OFFICIALLY,I dont understand what you mean,hell I friggin love SW,I cant wait to get my hands on these next Tuesday,and to get my PAL set shortly after,anyone here can make there own anamorphic set,just learn avisynth,there are alot of very smart peeps here to help you out.

Damn Laserman,you are a wealth of information,I have a high end Widescreen DLP TV 62',I might have to look into what you mentioned.
