I sure am happy all you hddvd buyers spent all that money,sure is nice isn't it LOL.

Thanks alot for checking this out for me A-M,
There are 2 times this happens during this scene,and each for about 4 frames,but the pic I posted is the worst of all the frames.
and I do have the avi clip of just the bad spots,and I used VDub to get an image sequence as well.

Hi Guys,
I have gotten some tips from a fellow member here but I need a little more than just tips,and he is to busy finishing his own projects to give me just a little more time,so I am HOPING that someone else here can give me some help,I have been messing with this for almost a month now and STILL cannot figure this out.

OK first off I will tell you what I am trying to do,I am wanting to put the WHOLE extended Windmill scene and the WHOLE Henry the Red scene into the Army of Darkness(as well as other stuff),but if any of you have seen,the scenes have a terrible big black line going through about 4 frames at 2 different times.

I have made an image sequence of the scenes,and an avi,now what I am trying to do is use masks to clean these frames up,I KNOW it can be done,I have seen it,just do not know how he did it,but all the other imprefections I can get with Photoshop.

Now I know some of you would say,why in the hell waste so much time on this movie,well I like it and the knowledge would come in handy on other projects too,I know AoD Primitive Screwhead Edition is out,but this still does NOT have all the scenes,and is missing alot,plus the echoey 5.1 sounds not to good on my system,and the switch in aspect ratio's bothers me too.

My version will have true DD 5.1 sound and the same aspect ratio throughout the whole movie.

so hopefully there are some After Effects CS3 Wizards here that can give me a hand,I know I am close,just not close enough,just show me something so I can figure it out and move on.

So you care to enlighten us on what exactly your sources are?
is it from these:

Blade Runner 2 disc ESPER Edition
Blade Runner Limited Edition (1993)
Blade Runner (1994)
Blade Runner 25th Anniversary 3 disc set

and if it is sourced from all of these,what is going to be different with your set as opposed to having all of these?

, I'm usually not a fan of fan edits but I believe what you have done is exceptional (and I haven't even watched it yet)

You need the latest xvid codec,and to convert to DVD,the simplest way is to use the NEW ConvertXtoDVD v3,but it costs $,if you want a free DVD converter,you could try DVD Flick,it will not do as good of a job as the other but like I said it is free,and it converts alot of different files like ConvertXtoDVD does.

OK this is ocpmovie's(Garret) response to the crap that is going on:

"Yes, AOD has been reencoded. Scott didn't use some
sort of M2V hack as I did for my Classic Editions. The
bitrate from the R3 DVD doesn't matter since this is
NOT the R3 DVD. It was made from it, but it's not it
anymore. The disc looks terrific, and I believe it was
designed to be a DVD-5, with no DVD-9 planned. I would
have to ask Scott.

Some people can't be happy with anything. This is
