A lut(look up tables) is like a preset but it's more fast, is used for calculate a color correction, change color space and it's very powerful.

For the software resolve lite, after affects , maybe avisynth with "rgb3dlut"filter....

Thanks, so what software are you using?

I'm pretty sure he just said it:

1.   Davinci Resolve Lite

2.   Adobe After Effects

3.   "Maybe"  Avisynth with "rgb3dlut" filter.....

Thanks, but I asked him which one he is using, I read that, I wondered which of the 3? but he PM'd me so now I know, so thank you.

From screenshots I've seen and from what I've read in one of the a/v video forums, the Japanese T2 has a small aspect ratio issue - it is slightly stretched or squished - I can't remember which now. I was just reading about it a few months ago. Can anybody confirm this? It was pretty slight- you wouldn't notice it unless you saw the comparison screenshots, but still, the aspect ratio is off a tiny bit.

I already answered this, yes it has an aspect ratio issue, but it was fixed.

Actually I just found out that this Doc we have been talking about is called Reflections of The Living Dead on other BD's, so I will no longer be searching for the DVD because I have it on 1 of my BD imports in HD! so we are good now.

Thanks

*edit, Does anyone have the US DVD of Birth of The Living Dead? it has extras where the UK BD has none.

Does anyone know where I can find this Doc?

Night of the Living Dead - 25th anniversary Documentary

It's on youtube, but that's about all I know. It's from a VHS source, however. I don't know if it was ever released on DVD or not.

I just found out it is on DVD, it is the bonus disc in the UK Trilogy of The Dead Box Set., we for sure will not use the youtube video form a VHS lol.

Awesome, I can appreciate that! I'd rather see it in the best quality possible.

We would to, but like with all our projects if no one can provide then it just will not get included, so why not help us help all to make the Ultimate NOTLD BD just like we did for the 1990 version?

is the video bitrate of this BD 21939 kbps of the DC?

in case its this edition, from what Ive read the best PQ of the theatrical cut is still supposed to have the french studio HD DVD and for the DC the spanish Studio canal HD DVD(/BD?). the JPN BN has some edge enhancement compared to the Studio canal and is supposed to have a slightly worse AR stretch/crop.

not meant as complaint or anything, just as a hint that there might be even a tiny bit of room for improvement if you or anyone else feel like getting the very best result possible.

The aspect ratio was fixed, and my Video Guy said this is the best source and I fully 100% trust him and no one else, so this release is what it is and is done, we do not revisit projects like so many others do, once done we are done and move on, if you like something else better you can always remux that video into our release and replace our video, to most, if not all, this IS the best T2 has ever looked so far.

*edit, I have the HD DVD of this and we did compare so you know.

Hi Dark_Jedi, Have you considered a WD My Cloud Mirror? It's definitely more expensive, but the benefit is that every file is automatically copied to two drives (via a mirrored RAID). If one drive ever fails, you can recover all of your data from the second drive. The backups all happen automatically and it will give you email warnings in advance if a failure is likely. It's also a DLNA media server.

Beyond the cost, the other issue is that if you do use it in mirrored RAID mode, a 4TB setup becomes only 2TB of usable data. For me, the extra peace of mind was worth the trade offs , but it's definitely something to consider. I like mine a lot.

I hope your son is feeling better. :)

Do you have a link to one of those type drives? and he is not out of the woods yet, but things are definitely now finally going in the right direction.

*edit, I found them, they are way to much I would never be able to get one of those at the size I need, they are nice though, but to darn expensive.

Thanks

Hi Everyone,
Over the past few weeks 2 of my Team members have suffered PC issues that could have been catastrophic, well we have managed to save what we needed and were able to finish our latest project that will release very soon, but now I am paranoid as hell, I have ALL the full completed files on my system along with every single file that goes into putting these together and sharing for you all, so my thing is now I am thinking I need to get a large WD MyBook External and back ALL our stuff up, so I am asking if anyone at all wants to help make this happen, we have a few people that have offered so far and I cannot thank them enough or anyone else that wishes to help, this is what I am actually looking at,

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E3RH61W/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3FNYQ0DFNN1CP&coliid=I3T0HJHVZ13GNF&psc=1

Thanks so far to sinders and Kingherb and HappY85!!

*edit, now I normally would have just gotten one myself and been done with it but over the past few months my Son has been in and out of the Hospital and 2 of the times was in the ICU, so funds are drastically depleted for my Family at the moment, and even through all this we were able to finish our latest project and get a new Home for our BD's.

I am glad I could help dark_jedi. This is the least I can do for you and the team for the work you lot do here with those blu-ray projects and that your are now releasing them on the BT tracker for all to enjoy.

Your very much welcome, and Thank you!
