Well, I looked again, and the OP's copy is definitely the original version, not the CGI replacement. So if your version has the CGI replacement, but the rest is better quality, just swap that shot out with the one on rockps3avchd's version.

Well I won't need to take anything from his version if I decide to do my own,I will be using the same HD 1080i source,I was just saying if this scene is on the DVD or not,but it sounds like the HD source is the version you like so all is good.

Found a comparison of the 1981 matte from the DVD (which was cleaned up anyway to remove the blue-screen halo around the car), and the new CG one:

I can't really tell from the posted screenshots which one is in this file. It looks like the original, though.

rock's version is already done and available,so you do not like the HD version,so which version is the right one,the DVD?and if so,you think an upconvert would look good?the reason I ask is,I may be doing my own version as well.

I will grab the HD 1080i HD files for all 3 movies this week along with your BD25's and see how they compare,if I am happy with your encodes than I won't have to make my own,but I really, really like CineVision's encoder,we will see, either way I am grabbing all,oh and even your audio files, now that will save me some time LOL.

rock may do rapidshare but I won't do that either, because I would be very friggin pissed off if I uploaded ALL them GB's and if they found out about it and deleted the files, which RS said they are doing now and reporting people, screw them to(my opinion only).

Is there any place to get the 1080 Braodcast for those of us that do our own encoding?

also what encoder did you use for the BD25 versions?

Thanks

ps. I just signed up but only saw the "Raiders" BD25,did not see the other 2.
The site does look pretty interesting,a lot of what I would be interested in,but why are some links still hidden, what needs to be done for that?

Here's a proposal/idea, and before you get combative, hear it out, think it through. How about a donation drive to Ady to get what he has finished of ESB:Revisited released by Christmas or by the end of January? Maybe he can finish all the easier effects touch ups if any left, leaving out the new model Wampa and the few other models he wants to build, the donations from this will help fund building and finishing and those for the v 2.0 to be released later in 2010.

Again....

Lets say set a goal at 400 usd dollars/ (243 pounds.) maybe even 500 dollars (304 pounds) he then can release a Version 1.0 by late January, perhaps slightly sooner, and then from these donations he gets more funding to finish all his models and release a version 2.0 later next year. These donation goal amounts are just an example, they can be higher or lower, of course. It's not much different than donations for cameos proposal or a lottery for workprints. Think about it. If agreed to I'll donate at least 50 bucks, you have my word. But whatever goal to is set, he must get that amount to be able to release v 1.0 earlier than if we had to wait months for all the models to be done. This is a way to get the donations rolling in. Build enthusiasm too!

Edit: and yes vaderios, more people seeing v 1.0 will give him even more feedback.

Unbelievable, the internet brings out all kinds of friggin strange ass people, you seem to be a pretty selfish person.

Adywan, I agree with the rest,I hope everything works out good for you and your family, especially with the Holidays just around the corner.

¤ THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK ¤ The "OPTIMUM EDITION" Score Reconstruction, Remixing & Restoration Version 3 (Released)

Holy shit now that is what I am talking about,The Imperial March(CD2) never sounded so good, and Yoda's theme WOW,I need to get these off my PC and listen to them on my Living room Setup, going to burn CD's tonight.

Thanks a TON ABC,very well done 2 CD set.

also sent you a PM

1 more thing I would like to comment on is your packaging,it is perfect, you have everything you need there, flac info's,tracklists, artwork, etc. again very well done.
I am also listening to your ESB FSV 2 CD set, listening to all these tracks makes me want to do a alternate film score for my DVD's using your audio, but I have a feeling this would be pretty hard to do,but would be cool.

I forgot some Yoda shots so here he is,

moving on to ANH now,I have accomplished what I set out to do with this,on my set up it looks pretty good,as good as an LD can get in my opinion,if someone else can do better with a Super Duper LD player than by all means go for it,but this looks a TON better than my first LD capture of this set years ago.I am Happy.

Well everything tested OK,the only thing I noticed was it seemed a little dark in some scenes but I went back and looked at the raw LD cap and it looked the same there,I am sure that is probably the way it is supposed to be,like I said my only goal here really is to preserve my LD's one more time the right way before I retire my LD player and put up all my LD's,and to hopefully obtain the 5.1 LD rips(which I have done thanks to DE)now I just need to do ANH & ROTJ,these are going to be fun,got to do subs, yippee.

Hi DJ, I'm a bit behind - did you use the menus on this latest version? If not I can put the links to the materials up on here in case folks want to do it themselves...

Not yet but I intend to give it a whirl, version 2 has not been uploaded yet.

DJ,

might want to wait until I get all the scripts worked out, otherwise you will not have de-ringing, improved anti-aliasing, and improved image stabilization.

ESB is coming along nicely.

-G

Anything to look at yet,I will surely do some testing but it really has to knock my sox off before I do this whole thing over again.

Testing ESB SE "Take 2" DVD right now,and I am watching it on a 65" HDTV being upconverted by my Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray player and it looks pretty damn good to me so far(as far a a LD rip goes,it definitely does not look as good as my Blu-ray projects LOL),all I did to the video was mild clean up and IVTC and made it 16:9 anamorphic, but the SWEET thing to this is the audio,it has the Dolby Digital 5.1 ripped audio from the LD,not that crappy latter 5.1 mix,and DAMN does it sound NICE!

if this DVD checks out, these are the specs:
4.38 GB's (damn did I get lucky on this LOL)
16:9 anamorphic video @ 2.35:1 encoded at 4200 avg bitrate
Dolby Digital 5.1 @ 384kbps(untouched Laserdisc rip,Thanks to Darth Editous)
Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround @ 224kbps (untouched Laserdisc rip captured with video)
NO Menu's,Movie only, chapters, audio selectable by your DVD player remote.

and now for the HUGE Thanks to Darth Editous for the 5.1 audio file! IT SOUNDS GREAT!!!!!!!

The audio took A LOT of work but it payed off in the end, took me quit a few hours to get ESB all sync'd up and edited back together, because I got the files in LD sides, not 1 file for the whole film,so now that I have done this once already, hopefully ANH and ROTJ will not take as long.
