Suspiria is the definition of a hypnotic film.
Suspiria is the definition of a hypnotic film.
Personally I think the original DVD looks the best in terms of colors.
I never thought I would see the end of Arthur but here we are.
The new 4K remaster of The Shawshank Redemption remixed the original Dolby SR track into 5.1 like the 4K version of A Clockwork Orange.
I still really like The Shawshank Redemption but in my opinion The Green Mile has better performances, more emotion, better characters and a more interesting story.
I like yours better.
I prefer The Green Mile over The Shawshank Redemption.
Added the 1998 MGM DVD of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Looking forward to it.

I’d love a link to this!
It’s over on TheStarWarsTrilogy.com.
Hayao Miyazaki and Steven Spielberg.
Pan and scan can look as good as widescreen in some cases.
Any more progress on this?
The original HD release of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was very disappointing to me. It had incorrect framing, incorrect color timing, suboptimal picture quality, remixed audio and replaced the original opening logos.
Red Dragon is extremely underrated and deserves the same level of acclaim as Silence of the Lambs.
The Office is one of the most overrated shows I’ve ever seen.
I just watched the film Wolf Children. I had heard praise for the movie for years but had never actually watched it. I had very high expectations going in and to my surprise it exceeded them. This film is an absolute masterpiece from beginning to end. Almost every aspect was done perfectly. I highly recommend it.
Attack of the Clones is my favorite prequel film.
The Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray of Titanic look better than the original version.
Another contender is the original BD of A Clockwork Orange, which has poor image quality that lacks fine detail and incorrect color timing as well as having the original mono mix replaced by a 5.1 version.
I would love to donate to this. Unfortunately, I’m unable to right now.
Honestly I don’t have a problem with the BD color timing.
So is the UHD an upscaled 2K scan or a native 4K one?
A lot of the color problems are fixed and more natural looking. However a few effects shots have been recomposited.
I’m taking a break from working on this for a while. I will be back to working later.
