The restoration of GBU was a major project for one of the leading TV stations in Germany. That is why it was reinstated and the picture reworked and the audio synced, etc. Very ambitious project. But it looks as it is close to the extended edition of GBU on NTSC. But keep up your project nevertheless, this movie is always worth to be preserved... some time ago I was thinking about shortening the movie, so it would be fun to watch nowadays. But it won't happen the movie is perfect with its lengthes (although my wife never looks westerns with me, which is truly a pity).

yeah. I find it very irritatin that MANO DE DIOS seems to be sth to be proud of. If I had a say in the FIFA I would definetly do sth about cheaters, even if they are discovered years after that. Sport is about challenge, companionship, fairness, training, nerves, virtue and honour, not about cheating. I dispise cheaters and cheating.

My daughter actually watched Troy in her history lessons in school. I think this movie is a great greek tale of the troy battle, well presented, well acted and a good mixture of hollywood action and epic history lesson.

I absolutely love M.Night, my favorite, actually one of my favorite of all-time movies is "UNBREAKABLE". It all is a matter of taste, I think he is a visionary and directing genius.

Lots of people consider the obvious unfairness that is still possible within football (non US) some kind of its charme. This is why there is no second master referee, no video device, no goal referees. Personally I think the acting should be stopped by all means. I want a fair an attractive game.

I still use Ulead Media Studio Pro 7. Pro 8 can crop, but it has so many bugs. With Pro 7 you have to use additional black bars to achieve your goal, but for me this works perfectly.

VIDEO is done, AUDIO in progress, there will be the promised 3 languages (ENG, FR, GER).
Our first plans were to release that as 2 DVDs, with a nice extra fanedit about the ZION war, but this is not going to happen, because of more important projects. But maybe you, Spence, Yoshimi, ADM, greencapt, wmgan want to help here for the fans and make this special edit. Just contact me, if you are willing for a co-operation with the CBB group.

Due to space reasons, there won't be any extras except for the new trailer and English subtitles on the DVD (of course there will be animated menus and chapter selection).

Second: I am glad you haven't given up editing, Spence and I was worried about what happened to you, since you suddenly disappeared from the Matrix forum. Anyway, this is the place to be for fanedits, so I am glad you made it and started with such a promising project like King Kong. The easiest way to create menus is with tmpg dvd author, it is a very self explanatory program and you will find it very easy to create simple but good looking menus to your movies (animated ot not animated, with or without sound, depending on what you want).
If I can be of help with any future project, just contact me, I would be very willing to, since I remember what a perfectionist you are from the Matrix forums.

I am so proud of my team!!! And I think we have a good chance to play a part in the final decision for this world cup. You should hear the people here walking through the streets, singing and dancing. this is incredible and it is exactly what Germany needs, something to keep us together. After so many years this is the first time Germans seems to be proud again to be German and there is absolutely no reason why they shouldn't be.
All in all it is a great world cup so far.
