The hell?  I wasn't trying to help! ;-)

What about this one?

Hmm, I can understand if its been resized, makes sense. But I've had URL links go crazy, and bkev has images that weren't resized...

Indeed, I forgot to mention links. Sometimes even just quote code gets all strange...

In regards to mverta, I believe he also has the problem of being involved in the business. So, if word got out he was responsible for a new version of Star Wars going around, he ... would probably be in more trouble than one of us.

edit: damn it Ash! My internet went funky for one minute and my post was delayed... you beat me to it.

Here are the images Ringwraith sent me, along with corresponding captures from my tapes (Some are lossy JPGs, so let's disregard compression related issues for now):

Ringwraith:

PAL VHS:

Ringwraith:

PAL VHS:

It appears to me that the VHS tapes could benefit from some mild brightening, maybe some slight noiserduction (but NOT too much).

Just an example. Using simple editor, as I find it easier to navigate.

et me start by saying full credit for the extras and sources are included on each disc in a "DVD Credits" portion of the menu. After all, I want to be sure I give full acknowledgement to anyone whose work I "borrowed" from.

The main video sources for the films are the NTSC GOUT DVDs. They were upconverted to 16x9 using my own scripts, which were inspired by scripts I spotted on OriginalTrilogy.com by G-Force and Moth3r.

The video source for the '81 opening is the '93 Definitive LaserDisc.

Audio sources include:
- The '93 Definitive LaserDiscs
- The '95 Faces LaserDiscs
- The '85 CAV Full Screen LaserDiscs of Star Wars and Empire
- The '86 CLV Full Screen LaserDisc of Jedi
- The Belbucus Restored Mono Mix for Star Wars

Supplements are sourced from:
- The Rowman Star Wars releases (Original Home Video Spots)
- The Dr. Gonzo DVD set (Documentaries)
- THX Ultimate Demo Disc (THX WOW! demo)
- The 2004 "Trilogy" Bonus DVD (Trailers)
- The Definitive LaserDiscs
- The Faces LaserDiscs

So much of his work is stuff we've seen the benefits of here. I'm curious as to how his script improves/differs from the others' work.
