I certainly support this. Although the thought had never really occurred, it makes sense.

Hmm, I can understand if its been resized, makes sense. But I've had URL links go crazy, and bkev has images that weren't resized...TV's Frink said:
The hell? I wasn't trying to help! ;-)
What about this one?

It sounds like a fun challenge, but I lack the skill. I think you would have gotten more attention in off-topic as well.
It was given out a number of years ago to a select few who probably aren't around here anymore. I've seen one or two screenies of it.
Misinformed Bkev, was Misinformed. Zion has recently hinted at a willingness to release the raw captures, but never a promise.
Can we see some screenshots please Jethrell Fo? It would be much appreciated.
I was thinking about that movie earlier, almost posted it. Also, I'm glad we finally stamped out Janskeet.
^This person is under the spell of Ric Olie.
I knew that's what it'd be when I opened this
In regards to mverta, I believe he also has the problem of being involved in the business. So, if word got out he was responsible for a new version of Star Wars going around, he ... would probably be in more trouble than one of us.
edit: damn it Ash! My internet went funky for one minute and my post was delayed... you beat me to it.
That goes beyond troll, I think he's autistic on a similar level to Timbox.
Not the best source when untouched. Skin tones are often almost purple.

It's not just all this stuff about little girls, although that obviously didn't help at all. It's more the fact that you post constantly and have contributed absolutely nothing of value to the forums.
Just tested it with another post, and it did the same...
No, I usually work in the simple one. This problem pops up on occasion.
Back on-topic: as it stands, I see a bit of inconsistency in the Death Star shots. Compare http://img413.imageshack.us/i/sw31.png/ to http://img839.imageshack.us/i/sw44.png/ . While they are different areas of the battle station, I would imagine that the colors would be at least unified in that blue tint.
Simple editor, Frink. I can't stand how the advanced editor works, it's generally too weird for me. I wasn't even able to get out the quote box last time I tried it, it just kept creating more and more and you get the idea I'm an imbecile.

Here are the images Ringwraith sent me, along with corresponding captures from my tapes (Some are lossy JPGs, so let's disregard compression related issues for now):

It appears to me that the VHS tapes could benefit from some mild brightening, maybe some slight noiserduction (but NOT too much).

et me start by saying full credit for the extras and sources are included on each disc in a "DVD Credits" portion of the menu. After all, I want to be sure I give full acknowledgement to anyone whose work I "borrowed" from.
The main video sources for the films are the NTSC GOUT DVDs. They were upconverted to 16x9 using my own scripts, which were inspired by scripts I spotted on OriginalTrilogy.com by G-Force and Moth3r.
The video source for the '81 opening is the '93 Definitive LaserDisc.
Audio sources include:
- The '93 Definitive LaserDiscs
- The '95 Faces LaserDiscs
- The '85 CAV Full Screen LaserDiscs of Star Wars and Empire
- The '86 CLV Full Screen LaserDisc of Jedi
- The Belbucus Restored Mono Mix for Star Wars
Supplements are sourced from:
- The Rowman Star Wars releases (Original Home Video Spots)
- The Dr. Gonzo DVD set (Documentaries)
- THX Ultimate Demo Disc (THX WOW! demo)
- The 2004 "Trilogy" Bonus DVD (Trailers)
- The Definitive LaserDiscs
- The Faces LaserDiscs
Has there ever been a reason discussed why we don't see mverta around here anymore? I've seen some of his posts, and they were often well-thought out. I sure hope he actually releases whatever he's got up his sleeve this time...
I've never seen that spine art before, it's nice. Isn't there a smear-free version of the DC that Malwalker found? Why hasn't he captured it yet?

Classic.
I wonder if whoever lives at my old place will get a creepy-ass letter from BadAssGhostbustingJanskeet like I did when he got banned as Janskeet.
I actually prefer yours. Certainly it could use a tiny bit of brightening, but his look too bright. Then again, this is coming from someone who's never watched the show - so take this with a grain of salt if you remember otherwise.
I certainly would not believe this was the GOUT if you hadn't told us. Fantastic job! Can't wait to see this for meself. This may be what gets me to watch the movie again!
If Skyjedi can acknowledge its good points then it's gotta be at least decent. That's so out of character for him but I've seen him do it.
