Star Wars OT & 1997 Special Edition - Various Projects Info (Released)

Yeah, I believe Ady has even acknowledged that the color correction was not too extensive - at least, he said he would keep Hoth a bit bluer for Revisited than he did.

I'm flipping through Star Wars and I'm thoroughly impressed, DJ. Thank you so much for your contribution to the community - and, of course, everyone else who made this possible.

Zion and MeBeJedi, I still think it looks all right - even if the GOUT looks better, I would be happy watching this. Thank you for sharing what you have; even if it's not the "holy grail" people were expecting, it's still closure on the project - for those who have been waiting and you guys, I hope.

I find it ironic that the "Laserdisc is Dead" thread originally got so much flac and yet DJ and others' works have been highly praised here. Of course, the praise is given where it's due - everybody who has contributed to this has given us what might be our holy grail till George caves in. It's just something I noticed, haha. I'm eagerly awaiting when the V3 is available to download!

7. The idea that the Jedi aren't perfect

That's actually a point I hadn't considered that comes into play quite well for the PT. Not only was Anakin imperfect: Qui-Gon and Count Dooku both had their own fallings-out with the Order.

However, I have to say that even with that point much of the Jedi story is flawed. There's not much mystery to them, and they almost seem like mercenaries.

By movie:

Phantom Menace
1. It's a kid's movie, simple as that. It didn't try to be anything more, and there ware a lot of moments in it that are just fun.
2. The scenery in Theed, CG or not, is pretty amazing looking.
3. Liam Neeson. Unfortunately, Qui-Gon is uninteresting unless you explore the EU (particularly, as I always bring up, the Jedi Apprentice kids' novel series.)
4. The score was, as always with John Williams, phenomenal. I have more memories of it due to the mediocre games based off it, though.
5. The ridiculousness of the whole the-Queen-isn't-the-Queen part. Can you say deus ex machina?

Attack of the Clones
1. The theater I saw Attack of the Clones at. It's pretty sweet. Living in famous cities sometimes pays off. I wish I could find a good picture of the interior, but let's say the place is practically as big as a concert hall.

Revenge of the Sith
1. Seeing it with my father while we were on a family vacation in Hawaii.
2.

it is hard for me these days to watch ANY version of the SW movies because I have seen them, and heard them, waaaaay too
Now HERE's something we agree on! I've seen these movies so many times that unless I fast forward to my favorite scenes I tend to fall asleep... of course you have more reasons for having see nit. Me? I'm just a fanboy.
