They're mock-ups.

The images I provide are never identified above as "screen captures" They are compressed (even further by me) graphical illustrations of the work that was done. They serve only to illustrate some of the fixes made, and if you look at them you should be able to see the before and after differences. Not sure how thats sheep-like. In later parts I'll discuss answers to why no original cuts, why some documentaries were left off and other questions.

Note the bold in the above quote. It comes from the same person who posted those caps we were looking at...

bkev had me watch Cowboy Bebop.

Usually I'm not a big anime guy (in fact I've never really watched it), but WOW this was amazing. In fact, my reaction to it comprised mostly of positive expletives.

The truth. He was shocked and possibly appalled when I told him it only got better, I don't even like the first episode. Full recommendation post from me coming someday.

What, are you lesbian?

He's a man, everybody just thinks he's as beautiful as the Princess. Also, I'm terribly sorry to hear about your fiancee Gaff. I didn't even know you HAD one.

edit: after reading the post above, I've decided I should go on the pledge too.

Is somebody checking the comments on YouTube ?

The best voted comments are personal insults on Adywan, and all comments which defend him are hidden, because they "received too many negative votes". The interesting thing is that most of the people (actually ALL which I checked till now) have registered on youtube ONLY to write these insults. Could these guys be LFL employees ? Any ideas ?

What an asinine assumption. Ridiculous ideas like this are what give us a bad name... well, aside from Adywan ;). All Ady-related jokes aside, some people are just really passionate about Star Wars and express it in different ways than we do. Some people think he's bastardized it, you know, the same way some think Lucas's SEs have. The internet just reminds us how inarticulate and hurtful people truly can be.

The original Blues Brothers. Five out of five balls! The first time I saw it was with my best friend only 5 hours before he left for college - not a bad time to decide to watch it! I was surprised by the number of musical guests, even though I knew the movie was driven by music. It's a lot of fun; something kind of unique about it is I feel the comedy is completely situational rather than being driven by any of the dialogue. A fun ride (emphasis on ride) that I'd be shocked if any of you hadn't seen it yet.

Oh yeah, and getting up and dancing to the credits was definitely 100% worth it.

What did you like.......about the '97 Special Editions?

I actually prefer the new celebration music over Yub Nub and the inclusion of the shot of Luke and Wedge, although I don't like the CG planet celebration additions.

This about summarizes my opinion. I prefer the Teddy Bear Parade in that it's a victory but not a concrete one; they have a hell of a lot more to do before the whole galaxy can get to celebrate!

ANH:
-Some of the CG shots, like the first line-up of the ships
-New Falcon leaving Mos Eisley
-Biggs scene, but it would make more sense if they'd reinserted the first scenes - which thank God they didn't!

ESB:
-Halfsies on the Cloud City expansion. The flyby in looked cool, but we didn't need it. Likewise, some of the random windows were pretty shoddy looking and out of place. However, the shot where they're supposed to be on that deck is really well done (save, of course, the railings being so low.)

ROTJ:
-The idea to put a better musical sequence in... shame Jedi Rocks was the final product.

Which Batman film is your favorite?

huh?  I don't understand, are you say that in Dark Knight,  Batman didn't want the public to be buddy-buddy with the police?   I never got that idea from watching the movie.

I've only seen the movie once, but from what I understood in the ending Bats told Gordon he needed to be viewed as a menace and not a hero so that Harvey Dent could be remembered not as two-face but as the DA. So, Gordon was going to tread him as a vigilante in press statements etc. and not publicly support him; rather, the opposite. I thought Gordon was supposed to treat Batman like a criminal from then on out.

Which Batman film is your favorite?
Time

Gordon is pretty active in the Animated Series.

My favorite has to be Mask of the Phantasm, because it's set in the cartoon universe. This choice, however, is not out of nostalgia; I hadn't seen this one until about 3 or 4 years ago. I think it truly nailed Batman, even if it had a bit of a hokey origin story. The plot shows that the authorities aren't always buddy-buddy with the police; in contrast, in The Dark Knight, it was that way because Batsy wanted it. Also, I know it's cliche, but Kevin Conroy as far as I'm concerned truly has the Bats voice down: commanding and awe-inspiring. Much better than the grunts of Bale.

If I had to pick live-action, I don't think I could. I think the Burton movies really had a better feel for how dark and slimy Gotham is supposed to be than the Nolanverse, and I really love the Batcave's design, but I can't deny the great things in Begins/Dark Knight either.
