Info: DBGT - the Blue Water Dub
Time
There are several full episodes divided into parts on youtube, but there is no definitive source I've found in .avi or any other format of them. Typical quality is that of VHS (the masters weren't that good to begin with, and then those were taped by fans.)
I hope to find a collection of all 64, if not video (copyright, how you annoy me) than in ac3 or mp3 so someone could make a quality DVD with that dub.

Hi people,
some of you may love dragon ball, many of you may despise it. But, most of you probably don’t know that there are two dubs of DBGT. One with the American FUNimation cast and a disgusting score by Mark Menza, and one performed by a studio called Blue Water (aired in Canada and the UK). Is it valid to preserve the second, as that has never been released on DVD or VHS? This is a much better dub, albeit with expected TV edits.

Galaxy Express 999 (* unfinished project due to DVD release - lots of info *)
Time
Oh guys, something strange I just noticed with my custom GE999 DVD. I havea bad layer break (least I think that's what it is) when Clair tries to convince the conductor to not stop at Trader's Fork. It pauses; on my old DVD player, all I have to do is fast forward for a second and it's fine. But, when I've had that problem with other DVDs in other players, it totally freezes. Was it a burn error or is this usual for Memorex?

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time
Regarding the ROTJ ending (I'm sorry to bring this up but I must), I doubt that the whole galaxy would hear so soon. I mean, isn't Endor very close to the outer rim? I doubt the whole galaxy could find out so soon. Plus, do you think that the whole remaining Empire would just give up like that? That all the planets would be free? I doubt it. I say go back to the "Teddy-Bear Parade" and change the music.

I personally thought that the videos I've seen with Sebastian Shaw turning into Hayden through a fade were done brilliantly. However, those videos are long gone from youtube. If only I could show you. It looked good, but of course not as good as only Shaw. I say just keep Sebastian Shaw and be done with it; forget the fade. It may sound like I'm advocating the opposite, but I'm not - I'm only saying that it can be done well.

Will your interest in the Star Wars universe be affected...
Time
Yes, I think it would. I am also a very big fan of the NPR version. The extras and expansion are welcome, however I don't think it could ever replace my love of the original (SE too, only the '04 DVDs do I despise) trilogy.

I didn't grow up in a house of star-wars obsessed, it's of my own desire that I'm totally crazy for it. So, my dad never complained/was happy in particular about the special editions. It is my own curiosity/inner preservationalist (is that a word?) that makes me want to see a competent release of it.

I would be very happy, very. Maybe I'd lose some interest, maybe I'd gain some.

Mysterious Cities Of Gold - PAL Project. * Cancelled * (with lots of info)
Time
Ah, I see. Well then, it's a shame that the two versions are so different. I mean, I'm sure Japan has its own remaster a-la Dragonball's Dragon Box, so if it were the same than those remasters could be purchased. It really *is* a shame about all this. Oh, and I'm curious, how far did the remastering go? Was it just put through a machine and DVNR'ed, or was there more to it?

Wait, wait - edited? Like, cut content deemed "unsuitable" for UK audiences? I hope that whatever US company (it seems that Shout! has a good track record, I'd hope for them) picks it up would try and get unedited masters. I'm glad that a fan was the one who worked on this official release, but couldn't they have grabbed Japanese film masters and released a stand-alone uncut set?
Don't take my comments personally, please; I'm a very picky guy when it comes to foreign cartoons (what they're doing to DBZ with the widescreen is disgusting.)
